Clear mouth-blown glass sugar shaker with finely engraved design is topped with a silver-plated, bell-shaped lid with circle and triangle piercings and a decorative finial. Neck of glass base is fitted with a silver-plated ring which bears the maker's mark of William Hutton & Sons of Sheffield and EP stamp. Lid has a tiny split in base.
