SAD, that is the only way to describe the flowers my wife got!
I ordered the plum crazy arrangement for my wife in the morning and they were delivered that day... no problem.
Of the 3 sizes available I ordered the "large" arrangement. What we got was below the "small" size.
The point of delivering flowers to your wife's work is for her to show them off to the other woman in the office... these were the opposite, they were embarrassing.
The arrangement is supposed to be purple flowers in a purple vase... first it was a red vase, ok no biggie I can live with that they were probably out of purple.
The height was supposed to be around 17 inches. What was delivered was at the most and that's a stretch 14. The depth supposed to be 12, what we got was 9!
The whole arrangement looked like it had been shoved in a box and squished on 2 sides. On top of it those 2 sides had almost no flowers, just greenery.
When she got home and showed me what had been delivered I was embarrassed by it. I looked cheap, like I sent a tiny arrangement when I had ordered a large one!
I immediately called their customer service number, which is in the Philippines by the way, and spoke to Bell. She was very nice and helpful and immediately offered a full refund but would not refund the delivery fee saying that they had already paid that to the Florist. I told her I didn't care, these weren’t even worth the delivery fee of $14. She wouldn't budge. I asked for a supervisor and was told they were all taking calls, asked if I could wait and she said no...
In the end I took the refund they offered and just decided I wouldn't order from them again.
I've been ordering from 1-800-flowers for 10 years, it's a shame it's over, but after my experience and the other reviews on this site, I’m done.
Also as a side note I called the local florist to complain, their number was on the card envelope. They were of no help at all and basically their attitude was oh well.
Now I don't know where to get flowers from for the next time...
