A Matter of Fax

Overall I'd say I was somewhat satisfied with my experience. I was not impressed with the rude person who answered the phone when I was returning a call from an email I received from them. I didn't speak to the person who sent the email, but I did reply to him to inform him that the person who answered the phone was quite rude. He didn't reply back to my email. I also wasn't pleased with the 17% "restocking" fee to return an item. I indicated yes for shopping there again, but in truth the answer is "I'm not sure."

After searching for printhead for a Xerox M940 workcentre, which was not available at the usual ink places or Office Depot, Staples or any other place I could find, I found it at amatteroffax.com and this is a great stop for all of your hard to find supplies. Good prices and good selection.

The overnight shipping charges were not correct when I first ordered the fax machines. They called me the next day to inform me that they would each be around $250 vs. the $62.00 noted on my receipt. At that point I argued that they needed to honor their prices and eat the difference. Of course, I lost the battle and then opted for the free ground delivery. I received the first one about 5 days later but the second one was delayed for about 10 more days. I was never notified there was a problem nor was the tracking information sent to me (it was with the first one). I would return to their web-site and go to my orders to get the tracking information began tracking the package once it was shipped. This was frustrating because the the delivery dates changed from day to day. Once I received the fax machines, I called back and received a credit for shipping charges with no problem - but I have not received any confirmation to date.

Great price, lots of products. They need to work on their purchasing and order progress. Out sourcing is a little clunky and makes the overall experience feel cheap. But, it did work perfectly and everything cam as expeceted.

I've been asked to review this site several times in response to this purchase. My comments can be summarized as: 1) Good price on this item, it was in stock. 2) Terrible level of information available on the site, hard to locate desired products. 3) Repeated delays in shipping, followed by surprise overnight shipping. 4) Email service before the sale was very prompt and courteous, but not really that great after the sale.

It was one of the best shopping experiences that I have ever had. I placed the order late Wed. night and by Friday I had my CD player... less than 60 hours later!! Everything was packed neatly and the item was as advertised. I now know where to go next time I need a CD player!

By far the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. First they send me a defective item that was returned by another customer before me. Then they say they will ship out a brand new one. Two weeks has gone by and nothing has showed up at my door. All phone calls to them go unanswered. Avoid this company like the plague.

This item was "in stock" for three weeks before they shipped it. when they finally did ship it, it was shipped through "Old Dominion," when the icon on their shipping page, and infact their tracking link, was of FedEx. This company only delivers between 10 and 2, so actually finding a delivery time was a hassel as well. Don't reccomend. The small amount of savings was not worth the hassel.

Just what I was hoping for. It was also what I expected. The only problem I had was with the shipper (FedEx Ground). They didn't know what to do with the package if nobody was there, so they delivered it at night when they saw that there was someone at the church.

The Visioneer scanner was delivered promptly. The scanner is excellent and met my expectations of performance. The Casio Disc Title Printer was delivered promptly. The ink ribbon was to be included in the package. It was not included. I had to go to Staples and pay $10 for the ink ribbon. Other than this inconvenience the product works as expected.

This is the second time I have purchased from this vendor. The phone call requirment may have been due to the fact I am in Canada. Some vendors have additional payment/credit card verification requirments for cross border purchases. I would not hesitate to buy from this vendor again.

Besides initial confusion caused by their sending me invalid shipment tracking information, and further confustion caused by the difficulty contacting customer service thru a limited functionality customer service web site; the product arrived in a reasonable timeframe in good shape and at an incredible price.
