A Matter of Fax

Found this company through Bing.com's cashback program. They had the lowest price on a Epson Stylus NX515 wireless all-in-one printer. Submitted the order on a Monday, 11/30/09, and used their web site to change the shipping option on Tuesday morning. Received e-mail on Tuesday afternoon saying that they didn't have the printer and that my order was cancelled. Site still shows the printer in stock (though at a new, higher price), so I e-mailed saying why was it cancelled since their site says they have it. Received terse reply e-mail saying they don't have it, the order is cancelled, and they don't deal with bing.com. Very bad experience. Refund still has not occurred on my credit card as of 12/3/09.

I ordered a replacement bulb and housing for my 62 inch television and it was delivered as specified and tracking was given although it was not guaranteed and I greatly appreciated that. Product was well packaged and came as specified. Works properly and and greatly satisfied with my purchase.

There were a lot of places online offering the Epson C88 printer. After considering price, shipping costs, and taxes, I chose A Matter of Fax to buy from. They had one of the lowest overall prices online. The item arrived in less time than I expected, packed well with no damage. They contacted me afterward to make sure I had received the printer and asked if everything was okay. Seems like a good company to deal with.

I have performed exhaustive research into pricing on Ricoh supplies and they have the most consistantly low prices.  Sometimes I can find some things a little lower elsewhere but it's not really worth the hassle.  Everything ships fast as well.

I ordered a replacement lamp for my projector on 9/8/2009 the website said it was in stock. On 9/16/09 I receive an e-mail telling me that it is on back order. I call and they tell me the warehouse can't tell them when they can ship one. I would never us them again

Product arrived in 3 days. I ordered a Toshiba DLP lamp. I received the whole unit and bracket for a complete exchange with no parts to remove, it was the complete unit. Plus the box it was sent in has a return label for the old unit. Price beat all other online dealers. I would definitely use them again. thanks

Prices are great. I tried one cartridge to see delivery time and if product was what was ordered, a high yield cartridge. Once I try the cartridge and everything works well I'll order all my cartridges for my business from you as long as the price and quality remain the same.

Ordered a correction ribbon for a typewriter.  The order was filled quickly and shipped UPS ground.  The product was correct, but A Matter of Fax charged $14.95 for shipping.  The shipping box and product weight 3.6 ounces!  When informed the 'customer service' rep her reply was "oh well".  Would not buy from them again.

BEWARE - SHIPPING & CUSTOMER SERVICE is a JOKE.

I ordered a Sony DLP replacement lamp and this place had the best price.  But unless you can wait a month for them to get around to shipping it, don't bother.  I even paid for expedited shipping and they still shipped it GROUND.  An extra $18 for GROUND?!?!?! WTF? 

And the customer service is some 3rd party outfit called c-liason.  Total joke.

STAY AWAY. FAR, FAR AWAY!

Update. To their credit, they have appologized for the shipping error and credited me the shipping fee.

I got the shipment for my Mitsubishi WD-52631 DLP TV replacement lamp on July 2nd, 2009, put it in and it works great so far. When I mistakenly ordered the wrong part, your customer service is helpful and courteous guiding me through the RMA process. The RMA process is a breeze. When I shop for something such as this TV replacement lamp, I look for fair pricing, order accuracy, fast delivery, and a company that stands by the product offering. AMOF did all that. I ordered a Toshiba TB25 replacement lamp for a TV. Both the ad and the order sheet said "Toshiba projector lamp," factory sealed. It was NOT Toshiba - it was a knockoff, and furthermore it did not work from Day One. It took two weeks to receive the faulty mis-advertised part and two weeks to get a return credit. I appealed for return shipping reimbursement due to BOTH false advertising AND defective part - and it cost me $25 to get it to them to meet their 10-day deadline. No luck with shipping reimbursement. You'll be sorry if you shop here - I certainly am.

Orderd speakers from this company, they called 2 days later and said they were not in stock and would not be geting anymore stock of this item.  However when I check the site the speakers are still listed as "In Stock" but the price has gone up over $100.  Before you buy with the company check the Better Business Bureau they have a F rating.

The website was easy to navigate. I read some of the reviews before deciding to order. I think the lamp I ordered for my TV is not the original maufacturer's part but it fits. Shipping was very fast - I ordered the item Monday evening and received by Friday.

I ordered a lamp for a Mitsubishi DLP TV, The price was awesome, the delivery was great, and you offered free shipping, everything went very smoothly. I have no complaints, but I was worried that I purchased the wrong item for lack of my knowledge on it. You know the old saying," If its too good to be true, it probably is!" Just my cautious nature I guess, but it was correct and I'm very pleased. Other sites sold just the bulb for $25+ more dollars, and you had the entire assembly for less, about $100 dollars less than there assembly prices. The lamp housing takes a lot of abuse from the heat the lamp puts out and should be replaced with the bulb. With the affordable prices you offer I can keep my TV at peak performance and feel the lamp will operate cooler with clean screens for better airflow. I also own a Mitsubishi WD-73835, would like to see that lamp at your site also, its a very new model, maybe you will have it soon. I will also order it from you when needed. I placed this order on 2/15. A day or two later I was contacted by telephone by the company, explaining that the exact product (a projector bulb assembly) was seriously backordered, but they had the bare bulb in stock. They asked if I wanted to order the bare bulb instead. I said yes, and they promised to ship it right away. Not having received anything, I attempted to contact the company by email and telephone 3/5. All voicemail boxes were full and nobody was answering the phone, so I used their web form. I got an answer on 3/6 via email telling me to call them, again there was no answer and again I could not leave a message. I finally called them from work on 3/7 and they apologized profusely, said that the order had been misplaced, but that they would ship it expedited that night. Now it is 3/21 and I have no bulb, no communication, no answers on the phone, and the web page has no tracking information on the order but also says the order cannot be cancelled. Buyer beware!
