I ordered a guitar amplifier from this company. Everything seemed in order as I received an email confirming my order. However, 10 days later I had still not received my merchandise, which was the shipping time I had chosen. I subsequently sent an email requesting an update regarding the status of my order as their online status still showed the order as processed. I received no response to my email. I called customer service a week later, only to be told that the buyer wasn't available and that they would call me back the next day. Of course, that call never came. I called again about a week later and was given the exact same story. And again, they never called me back. My third call finally got some results...the amplifier was on backorder. I finally cancelled the order, not because it was on backorder, but because of the absolutely terrible customer service. I shouldn't have to get in touch with a company four times to find out what's going on with my order. They should be proactive and let me know, like Amazon or Musician's Friend. I will never order anything from Abe's of Maine again, nor will I recommend them to my friends. And, I've been posting my troubles to my blog and Facebook pages for the whole world to see.
