The web site was easy to use, and provided all the techinical specifications required. It also clearly showed me the difference between the Optura 20 & 10 camcorder I was interested in, which was really nice. The Canon diital Elph 4.0 was bundled with a 256MB flash card at a reasonable price, which was also nice. However, since I did not know too much about extra batteries, I took a bit of a chance of buying those for both the camcorder and camera. While the Power2000 "Canon clone" batteries were listed as accessories, I was not absolutely certain they would work or if I needed an external charger. Perhaps its because its the first digital camcorder and camera I bought and so I'm a novice in this area, but I would have been reassured if it was stated explicitly what I really needed. Tracking the order by sending the order # to an email address did not work at all. I sent two emails, neither of which received a tracking response. This was not good.

I ordered online and received my camera by UPS on time. No follow-up phone calls were made to me, and I could track my order online. Simply the best experience. There are many shady photo companies out there, but look no further. Great price too.

Their web site is very well put-together and easy to search. I particularly liked that it gave a complete list of what exactly the digital camera came with, including the USA warranty. Most sites don't give such a detailed list, so you don't really know what all they will include with the camera.

Overall- a good experience. Price was fair and competitive. Delivered proper product with USA warranty as advertised. Easy to navigate site with detailed description of products. Fair and honest shipping charges. Had no need for contacting customer service--so I cannot comment on that aspect. They did not call and try to sell additional items or switch me to something else--which I appreciated. The only negative aspect of the purchasing experience----I would like to have been notified when the camera was shipped. But, overall a very good buying experience on the internet.

After shopping around for a Canon Optura 10 digital camcorder, I found a few other online store that had a better price than B&H, however, they did not appear to be as reputable as B&H. I paid an extra $26 over the lowest online price I found, but felt more comfortable going with B&H, and I do not regret that. They did not bother with a follow-up call and shipped the camcorder out quickly. It arrived on time and brand new.

Since 1984 I have purchased a number of cameras, film supplies and electronics from B&H. They have never failed to provide excellent prices, products and service. In one rare instance a camera developed a defect after a few days of use. They replaced it quickly and professionally, with no hassles. B7H appears to have the product they advertise in stock. No waiting until the product is ordered from a jobber somwhere unknown as some of the venders apparently do. B&H apears to have it. It goes out the next day and is delivered on time and in good condition.

B & H is an excellent merchant. In addition to providing a wide range of products from lower level consumer to professioanl equipment, it is extremely easy to navigate the site and locate your desired product. In addition, B & H provides easy to read and highly instructive tutorials for product lines to help the customer make an infomed decision about the right model for thier needs. For example, I purchased binoculars for my dad as a gift and was able to learn about how the different techinical features would apply to his needs. I was able to purchase a pair perfectly matching his needs and in my price range. Keep up the great work!
