WOULD NOT PURCHASE FROM Baby Universe - Others will Price Match

I ordered the Britax, Marathon Car Seat through Baby Universe on 3/12/07 because they had one of the best prices ($209) with free shipping. I did not receive the car seat until 4/9/07.
The website states, "Same Day Shipping if Ordered by 2PM EST M-F." Received my confirmation email receipt at noon and my charge card had been billed that same day, as well.

I waited two weeks before contacting Baby Universe customer service (3/27/08) because I had not heard anything about the shipment of my order and the link they sent me to track my order said, "Not Found. No Information."

I spoke with Maria, she stated that my car seat was on back-order, would not be shipped until 4/22/07. I said that this was unacceptable and asked to speak with her manager (Deborah Medina-Paolini).
I never received an email letting me know my delivery was delayed and anyone ordering from Baby Universe would not know the seat was out of stock because the website doesn't let you know.

I am pleased with the product but WOULD NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM Baby Universe, AGAIN. Go to another store/dealer websites. Many will price match, if Baby Universe has a better price!
