My item is on backorder and I was not contacted to let me know. I had to call BabyAge myself and find out that the item is on backorder. I was told then that they would email me with the follow-up information when they find out when I should receive my product.

The shopping experience was wonderful. I found many choices for the product I was shopping for. I do have a problem with the quailty of the product. The support beams for the bed broke on the first night of use. Those could be made with a more quality type of wood.

Excellent prices and a great selection, but they listed items that were discontinued and not available on their website also. Flat rate shipping was hard to beat for a large bulky item like a bike trailer.

We ordered quilt clips for our daughter's room. The service was laughable. After placing the order, we were informed that it would take 4-6 weeks to process and ship the order. We thought this was an unusually long time for an internet company, but thought we'd wait and see When the order finally did ship, they shipped the wrong item. I had to wait 15 minutes on hold before I could get through to customer service.
They did ship a replacement order, which arrived in 2 days! What's up with that? They can ship a replacement order in 2 days, but it takes 5 weeks for the original order to ship? I faxed and e-mailed complaints to the company and have received no replies. There are plenty of baby/kids internet retailers out there. I would avoid BabyAge.com like the plague. |

The shopping experience was good overall. I have not yet received the base for our infant seat, but assume it will ship soon. I was disappointed however because I signed up to receive an email notification when the base was back in stock and never received one. Other than that, it was a fine experience.

Shopping, payment and making additions to an existing order was simple and easy. Products I ordered are on back order, which Babyage.com is not at fault for. I think Babyage.com is a little sketchy by not specifying if their products are in or out of stock, it is almost misleading.

Item arrived quickly and packaged decently as I paid over $200.00 for shipping which was what I would have expected but the product itself was not in good condition and had many many unexpected flaws and nicks out of the corners of the wood and other areas which were quite marked up.
