Terrible experience. I ordered a camera as well as accy's and it showed in stock, after a 5 days i emailed and never received a response even after a week and a half after sending the email. I called and they said it would ship in 5 days. Did not happen. Called again and was told camera was not in stock. I guess that's why the price was so good. I cancelled it finally.

Ordered a camera dock from Beach Camera, which i was told by their customer service that it would work with no problems. It did not work with my HP R927 camera. I called them back and they stated that i was not operating the dock correctly. I called HP and they sent me a email with the list of the cameras that the dock did fit. The R927 was not on the list. It took 3 weeks to finally get my refund back to my account (after several phone calls to Customer Service). Please beware of this type situation. Do not take their word for it without doing some research.

Due to the incredible pricing, I purchased 2 Canon Camcorders and assorted accessories. Prices were 25% less than "Always Low Prices" and the shipping was incredibly fast. So fast I received the cameras before the tracking info was on-line. I'm not sure how BeachCamera managed that, but it was a pleasant surprise.

I ordered a Nikon D80 w/ 18-55mm lens on March 6. The price was the lowest legitimate, got a free 2GB SD card and they shipped a few hours later. No "verification" calls, no "buy more" pressure, no NOTHING. No shipping charges either! The camera arrived 3 business days later, brand shiny new. The kit price appeared $10 less one day after my order; I contacted them and they happily refunded $5 to my credit card! Now, that's the way to do business! Highly recommended, do not risk your money on those scammers that advertise 50% off street price and won't sell you the camera unless you also buy a lens cap that "costs" $300...

First of all, let me say that my online shopping experience with Beach Camera was great! Compared to all the other sites I checked, Beach Camera had the lowest price for the item I was looking for.

Honestly, I was a bit nervous making a big ticket purchase online for a product sight unseen, but fortunately this experience went smoothly and I will definitely use BeachCamera for my next electronics purchase.

The best part about the whole experience was being able to track my purchase the whole way to my house and with free shipping as the cherry on top. I placed my order on a Friday evening and received it the very next Friday, 3 days earlier than expected. The customer service representative called and confirmed the scheduled delivery date and was very helpful. My order was a 60" Plasma by LG(60PC1D) that arrived in perfect condition exactly as described!

Love the camera. But had a small problem with the battery -- would not charge. Al at customer service was flippant and not very helpful. He wouldn't listen to me. A little courtesy would have left me with a better regard for Beach Camera.

Ordered Nikon P5100 digital camera on a Sunday, arrived Wednesday with free shipping. Price very competitive with other sellers. No follow up phone call to pressure you to buy additional accessories or warranties. What else can I say but this was a flawless transaction. Thank you !

Great price and great service! It may not be the lowest price for my camera but it was available and came very quickly as I paid for it with paypal on a Wednesday and also paid $5.95 for Fed Ex shipment and it was shipped on Wednesday evening and I got it in the midwest on Saturday! Tracking of package was great. Received everything I expected in excellent condition. Would use Beach Camera online again!! I did call the 800 number to order my camera and the sales rep said I would get the camera faster by doing it online. Prior to my order I emailed Beach Camera as the website didn't say I would get the manual and a US warranty with my camera and they responded very quickly to this also. Also, an authorized Canon dealer. Definitely would recommend this company!

After computer surfing for both price and availabity of my new canon camera and accessories, I chose Beach's. The process seemed simple, but in the end, Beach's required a follow up phone call to complete the transaction. It took a full day to reach Beach's by telephone making the purchase very complex and lengthy; a simple purchase that should have been finished in 2 minutes. The telephone salesman kept attempting cross sales, many times, attempting to sell me everything from batteries, memory cards, camera cases etc., this is why I internet shop to avoid that pain and trouble. Then, When he attempted to sell me a warranty for my new Canon camera by telling me that my new canon camera would not come with one at all, I was fianlly able to learn from him and understand that Beach's sells only "Gray Market" products at their advertised price. These "Gray Market" items are foreign products sold in the USA that were intended for sale in other countries, perhaps third world countries etc, these items were never meant to be sold here in the USA They may or they may not be of the same quality as products intended for sale in this country and the parts used in your new camera may not be replacable or repairable here either. It's like buying a Japanese car in Japan and then bringing it over here into the USA to use. Just try buying parts for it or getting service for it here, in the USA. These gray market cameras do not come with USA warranties and if they have any instrctions, they will not even be printed in English. No where in Beach's advertising do they bother to tell you that they are not selling you the same products as any of the other Internet companies. The name and model number of your camera may be the same, the product however may or may NOT be the same and there is no way to know this before buying it. This is why their advertised cameras are cheaper than some other companies. They are not selling the same camera to you though, so do not compare their prices to other Internet companies. Do not fall for this deception from Beach's, it is wrong of Beach's do cheat you in this way and a very poor business practice. That is like trying to compare apples and oranges. I call this false and/or misleading advertising on Beach's part. It's like advertising a car for sale only to find out later that your new car does not come with an engine or even with paint, those are now options, but you were not told about this before your order so your new care is delivered rusting and helpless. Do not buy here from these people, do not buy from Beach's. Although they did reverse my credit card charges, they are bad people and not at all honest.

I tried three other on line Camera Dealers, namely Broadway Photo, Prestige Photo and Goodguys Photo. Unless I bought either a media card or an extra battery, the camera was not in stock. I waited over two months with Goodguys Photo, and was then told, it was discontinued and not available. I was reluctant to try a third time, and was, frankly, floored when, 1. they had the camera in stock, at the advertized price. 2. they did not try to sell me anything else. 3. they shipped it the same day and, I got it two days later. 4. Even though their price was a few dollars more than others, with free shipping, it was a few dollars less. Most of all, it was a TOTALLY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. Canon SD 800is. These people are GOOD!

I ordered a new Fiji S700, on-line from Beach Camera. I called them to have the camera shipped to my work location as FedEx requires a signature for release. The was no pressure to upgrade or purchase over-priced accessories, and a very pleasant young lady took my information and thanked me for my order. Later that day an email arrived saying that the order had been shipped and provided a FedEx tracking number. I received the camera 3 days later in Florida.
