WHAT AN OVERALL DISAPPOINTMENT!
I tried to purchase over $800 worth of various lifting equipment from them. I am an Active Duty Military Member from the New England Area. I have been stationed across the country for training so I needed my own home gym equipment. I did intend to purchase some more.
I spoke with an employee named Jay Almeida. The Customer service was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! Basically when I tried to get this 110% price match guarantee, he gave me the runaround like you wouldn't believe! Not only did he try and make me do his job; when I called to let him know I wanted to speak with someone about the poor quality of service and that his company basically cost me $64.70, all he wanted to do is argue with me. I purchased three items from:

for $647 which was by far the best price for these items; these same three items are sold at Big Fitness Products for $813.79! A mark up of over $165!
So after arguing with this incompetent individual for a few minutes I was finished with his substandard customer service and asked to speak with a Manager about the issue...
The nerve of this guy to tell me no! No! I couldn't talk to his manager. So much for the customer always being right!
I don't care if this company has been around for 100 years, the service was TERRIBLE! I am so glad that my money didn't go to this poorly managed company. It is hard to believe that a company with this kind of service has been around for 16 years.

The customer service at http://www.athletes.com was far superior to that of big fitness. Thank you Athletes.com!
I wouldn't order from this company if they were the only company left. I would fabricate them myself first!
