The antenna connector ordered did not specify, other than the part number, that the device was for a cell phone, not a VHF antenna. Low cost of the product does not merit return for refund. Disappointed that part did not meet expectations.

Ladder was sent FedEx. I received the carton (banged up) but there was no merchandise inside. I called Boaters World and was told I would hear back in 2 or 3 days. I did not receive a callback and called again after 3 days. A diefferent person told me it would be 7 to 10 days before we heard anything from FedEx. I never received an apology during either call from Boaters World nor did they offer an alternative until I pressed the situation. Although this was entirely the fault of FedEx, BoatersWorld could have and should have done more to ease the pain or this experience. I opted for a refund and bought the ladder somewhere else.

fine, except they did that annoying thing of confirming online transaction and then sending e-mail saying to call them. i do online transactions because i can't hear on the phone, so it's really annoying to then be told you haven't really done the transaction and will have to do it over again on the phone. they did that because they said billing address and delivery address didn't match. well, gee guys, do you really think i can have portapotty delivered to my p.o. box credit card billing address? and, my credit card co. has my street address, so there should have been no discrepancy in the first place. city people really have a problem with the p.o. box concept, don't they? even AT&T can't figure out how to address a bill properly to a p.o. box, and surely they must have a "professional" running their huge mail operation, so I guess little boater's world can be excused for not understanding the p.o. box concept very well, either.

Although Boaters world did what was expected, the merchandise was poorly assembled and when I called the company direct, their response was all we can do is fix it for you after you ship it back to us. I didn't spend $450 dollars on something to have it fixed.

I ordered a boat seat and a sun shade.
I thought I had ordered two boat seats when I selected the amount. I tried to order just 1 more seat to receive the special discount for buying two seats. I was told the first order would be stopped and a new shipment would be sent and I would receive credit for the first order. Wellll, a couple days later I was told the first order had already shipped and to just send it back. I had to pay shipping charges for the seat and sun shade. All this could have been simply taken care of if the clerk had just sent one more seat at the discount price....

In Nov 07, my son ordered a $50.00 gift certificate for Xmas, in Apr I was sent a $75 certificate (after several emails). I made my order and it was confirmed for 2 vest less the $75.00.
Later I was sent 1 vest, and I was charged full price. I emailed and had to make 3 phone calls, and I had to ask for help from a supervisor to finally get the correct order at the correct price.

four times for him. For the few items we ordered it took
over 1/2 hour on the phone. Gave up on a few of the items and purchased at local store. Even there they were not aware of the sale items in the flyer we took with us. I would recommend that anyone shopping at BoaterWorld know the
exact items they need and what the products are capable of as the staff is not very knowledgeable. I received notice a week ago that some small backorders items were shipped. I still have not received them. Approx one month since original order placed.

I returned the watch because the fit was wrong. It would have helped to have dimensions to know whether it was what I wanted. The service was wonderful, it arrived on time in good condition, and I will see if I am credited for my return. If my card is not credited, I will have a different view of the service.

False advertisement, still has not giving me a refund they said they would. The product was fine and the shipping was fine, but the accounting sucked and still does. I needed some additional items for my boat, but I bought them from another on-line boating dealer and it was a pleasure to have it all just work like it should.
I do extensive on-line shopping and the combination of boaters world and paypal made this one the worst I have ever had. By far, worse than all problems on all orders I have ever placed combined
