False advertisement, still has not giving me a refund they said they would. The product was fine and the shipping was fine, but the accounting sucked and still does. I needed some additional items for my boat, but I bought them from another on-line boating dealer and it was a pleasure to have it all just work like it should.
I do extensive on-line shopping and the combination of boaters world and paypal made this one the worst I have ever had. By far, worse than all problems on all orders I have ever placed combined

I found some great Christmas ideas and placed an order for a few T-shirts on Nov 26, 2007. Within two weeks I received and email that they hadn't forgotten about me and my order was pending. That same email arrived once a week until the end of January when I cancelled my order. I called and emailed customer service a few times, to no avail. They kept telling me that the manufacturer was the reason for the delay. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A COUPLE OF T-SHIRTS TO BE MANUFACTURED???? At one point, we received an email from a customer service rep that wasnt' even from Boater's World?????? When I replied asking them who they were, they apologized. For what????Where is my order???
Being a previous customer, I feel the company should have provided better service, offered a viable reason for the delay and coupon/discount for future items. I will never make a purchase again from Boater's World.

I was VERY pleased with BoatersWorld.com. Very good pricing, very quick, inexpensive shipping, and good communication. I made an error entering my credit card information, and MY error was handled very efficiently. I would have to rate this as one of my best online purchasing experiences ever! I am not one who passes out such compliments very often!

I tried to purchase a water pump for a boat that the University Of Florida owns, I have puchased in the past with a University P-card.
For some unknown reason boaters world now needs the billing zip code for this P-card.
I work at a sattelite camous so I have no Idea what the billing zip code is,and trying to talk to someone in my entity that knows anything is like pulling teeth.
So....I went to west marine and I got my stuff in a very timely and professional manner.I have also talked to the Director of my campus about suspending ALL spending with boaters world.we shall see what happens.
This was without a doubt the worst service I have ever experienced online!!!!!!!!!!

There was a small problem.Your sight did not tell which credit cards you accept.I puy information down and it would not accept it so I tried a different card which worked.Two days in a row however I got e-mails stating the wrong number was used.The first call the girl had a different name and iteim ordered for the order number I had.She changed it but the next day another e mail about wrong number.I called again and the fellow I spoke to changed it.That time it worked because 2 days after I received the order.Unfortunately I can not comment on the product because it was something my son had on his Christmas list and he would know wheather it is good or not.

A physical store personel contacted the on-line dept. to resolve the issue. Will use site to research items only. Will not purchase on-line from Boater's World again. Ordered the item, was advised of 1 wk backorder. Received confirmation of order, name was spelled wrong so phone call needed to correct that. (name was clearly spelled to operator at time of order, operator difficult to understand due to foreign accent)Recontacted in 1 wk, was advised item still on backorder and 'customer service' was unable to provide any time frame and refused to check further and refused to connect/ forward me to a supervisor. Waited another week before item shipped/ arrived. No excuse for poor phone people. They represent the company and were very poor at doing so!

Seating and base look nice but over priced for what they are, and the description in your book is not correct. Your catalog lists the overall height as 31", "NOT SO". With the 16" base the overall height to the top of the seat is 35". You need to correct the overall dimentions in your catalog and on line. Also, in your catalog and on-line the picture of what I purchased shows the center sections of the seats and backrest to be rolled and pleated vinyl material, not so, what I got were all plain white vinyl seats. I would not buy these again and feel the item was misrepresented and over priced.

I do not recommend ordering on-line from this company. Their ad about free shipping on orders over $100 is not correct. I placed an on-line order and all through my checkout and even to the confirmation page, I was told shipping would be free. When I got my order I was charged $15.90 shipping and handling. They said it was because the item I ordered was a "Limited Special" item and it carried shipping charges. No where once I added this item to my shopping cart did it say it was a 'Limited Special' item and shipping charges would apply. There is a note under their ordering info about shipping being charged on certain items, but once you put that item in your cart, the shipping should show up and it does not. I believe it is false advertising to show the shipping charges as 'free' if indeed that is not the case. I you want to order from them, I suggest ordering over the phone.

ordered gift certificate. expected to receive it in mail. waited several weeks before calling. was told they'd send it. it didn't come. after 2 more calls i was told they sent me a number by email that was the certificate and merchadise could only be ordered online. the gift was for christmas for recipient to use in our local store. i told them to keep the certificate and credit my checking account which they finally did.

The items I ordered are not shipped from stock. So far, I have not received the order nor has the supplier been able to furnish an expected ship date. This was expected and is not a problem since the boat is a total renovation project and boating season is about over. We've got all winter to "get it right". I was taking advantage of a good discount on the normal price for these items so they were ordered well ahead of my actual need.
