Nice looking web site, checkout smooth, but I was charged more than the final amount and the company refuses to issue a credit. They take forever to ship.

I bought a fiber optic christmas tree from them for $19.99, and a tree skirt for 5. The total came up to ~$25 plus twelve for shipping...6 for shipping and 6 for shipping an oversized item.

I had a free shipping coupon. When applied, both the $6 charges were changed to 'free' and the total all the way through submitting the order showed ~$25.

When I received my confirmation email, it showed the six dollar oversized shipping re-included, for a total of ~$31.

I emailed brylane customer service twice, and was told that the item said it had extra shipping and although their checkout gave me the wrong total, they would not credit me the extra $6.

They also said they couldnt cancel the sale as the item was already "prepared for shipping". Four days later its still unshipped, but 'prepared'.

I wont buy from them again, even for a great price. Its not worth the hassle of getting the right amount charged to my card and filing disputes with the credit card company, along with waiting an indeterminate time before my order actually ships.
