On 4/15/09 I ordered and paid for the changing table "DaVinci - Emily Three Drawer Changing Table in Antique White". The money was deducted from my account and I got an order confirmation with estimated delivery date of 04/21-4/28/2009. On Monday 04/20/09 I was notified that this item- the one that I had already paid for and received a confirmation-, was "not available" and was cancelled. The item with the same model number (per the first customer service rep I spoke to) that appears on their website but is described as white instead of antique white. It is the SAME model number. It is priced at $279.99. The item I ordered and paid $139.99, was NOT listed as closeout and did not have "limited quantities" anywhere in the description of the product. Due to the fact that I shop extensively on the internet, I take screenshots of all my purchases. I have a copy of the web page to refer to so that I am absolutely sure that I didn't miss that it was a "cloesout special". The director of customer service "apologized" for it not being noted and would look into it. I have shopped CSN stores in the past and their company always clearly mark closeout specials. I feel as though CSN Baby has unscrupulously refused delivery of my item in order to increase the price by overy 100%! I feel that they did not want to ship this product to me due to the low price and that they could sell it for more than double what they had already sold it to me for. I purchased this item via Paypal and the cost of the product was removed from my account immediately. A credit was issued for the purchase price on 04/20/09 only after my phone call to CSN Baby - however there is a "hold" placed on the refund and it is still not yet refunded. I believe that as this item was sold to me in good faith, and money was exchanged as well as confirmations processed - I should be delivered the product they sold me. At the very least a "reputable business" would offer a substitute item, if this one is no longer available.  
 
Mr. Taylor, Director of Customer service was VERY rude, speaking to me as though I was an idiot while consistently talking over me. I feel as though when I am talking to someone in a management position, I should at least be listened to - not spoke over. He offered me a discount of $50 off the inflated price, bringing the price to nearly $100 over what was sold to me. I counter offered with "I will pay $50 more for another finish if that is the problem, but I feel that the increased price was inflated". He refused and suggested that I "go ahead, call the Better Business Bureau". I think his attitude and handling of the matter was totally unprofessional. I will NEVER shop this vendor or any of its sub-companies in the future!

Errors will be corrected when discovered, and CSN Baby reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including after an order has been submitted).”
