The product I was ordering was listed on their website as in stock. However, two days after I ordered, I received an email that it was in fact on back order and that there would be a delay. I emailed them back to cancel my order, refund my money, and that I would be buying it from someone else. They did so on the next business day.

CTI shipped the wrong scanner to me. I have sent it back and am still waiting for the right one. I have every confidence that I will receive the correct scanner eventually, but the delay is unfortunate.
CTI might benefit from some sort of quality control emphasis in the order fulfillment department.

Monday I waited for my delivery all day...when I called SAIA I was advised that there was not enough room for the trailer so my order was returned to their warehouse. SAIA had a trailer delivery to this same location last December with no difficulty. They then rescheduled a delivery for today between 8:00 AM and Noon...I waited until 12:15 PM and then had to leave. On their manifest, attached, they have my name and telephone number where they could have called my with any issues or problems...but they did not.
I have taken 12 hours off of work to be available for this delivery and I cannot continue to take time off and not accomplish anything. I do not know what the issues are with SAIA but I would suggest that you reconsider your choice of delivery firms. When I attempt to e-mail CTI at the address they provide I receive the following The following recipient(s) cannot be reached: 'sales@cti-intl.com' on 11/3/2006 12:08 AM 550 5.7.1 sales@cti-intl.com... Relaying denied. Proper authentication required. |

My shopping experience with CTI was excellent; however, I needed to talk to a salesman before I purchased the ScanSnap S500 to verify that it could be used with Windows XP (some work with Mac) and that it was a new unit and not refurbished. I was transferred to a salesman but got voicemail. My phone call was never returned. The next day when I called again and was able to speak to someone who could answer my questions, they were answered but instead of taking my order over the phone, I was quickly referred to the website. Your website is more user-friendly than your employees.

They might consider improving their inventory tracking system to provide real-time notification of items that are out-of-stock while placing an order. It seemed to take more than an hour to correct their web site after I ordered an item that was not indicated to be out-of-stock when I placed the order but I was later told was out-of-stock. Their customer service did try to correct the problem and contacted me quickly by phone and responded quickly to my e-mail.

The website is a pain in the neck! You continually get multiple pop-up windows for a customer satisfaction survey EVERY TIME YOU LOG IN! I called in initially trying to find out about tracking numbers and their customer service person wasn't particularly friendly. Given the chance to get the same products at similar price elsewhere, I would go to a different vendor.

Horrible. They took the order, called me to speak with them on the phone. Told me I was lying about my address (we had move a year ago), couldnt find our info, spent 20 mins. with me verifying a simple one item order and then refused to deliver it to an address different than our corporate office. I canceled the order. Will NEVER use them again!
