Worst Internet vendor I have ever encountered.
1. Within minutes after acknowledging my order, this store notified me that the shipping charges would be higher because one item on my order would ship from a different location as the other two items, nearly doubling the shipping charges.
2. Then the store notified me that the separate item was no longer available and would not be available again for about four months.
3. When I received my order, one item was not the item I ordered. Since the item had to be compatible with something I already own, and the item shipped was not compatible, I could not use it.
4. Despite the photographic evidence I provided, the store claimed the item I received did not even exist!
5. The store charged me the originally estimated shipping cost for the three items originally ordered, despite an email message from the store indicating that the cost of shipping the two remaining items would be less.
I have notified my credit card issuer that I dispute the charge for my order until such time as the DigitalGiftStore resolves all matters satisfactorily. These people seem very nice but are totally clueless and incompetent. I would not shop at this store again, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Incidentally, I rated this store negatively on BizRate.com, but the negative information never appeared among the reviews of the store, and the review statistics for the day I submitted my review showed 100% satisfactory!
