I ordered a Summer video baby monitor for a baby shower gift. Within a week, I received a used, banged up baby monitor. Immediately emailed Heather at customer service...they promised to send me another 2nd day air...it didn't arrive and because she promised another one would be sent I didn't buy it somewhere else. Went to the shower without a present. I put my payment via American Express in dispute because at that time all I had to show for my $179.95 was an ungiftable monitor. Heather told me not to dispute it, but since I had never disputed anything before, didn't know how much time I had to put it into dispute. She was very angry, and THEY HAD THE NERVE TO SEND ME TO A COLLECTION AGENCY! It's been a headache and not worth the aggravation of saving a few bucks. I'm 57 years old with impeccable credit rating and I am furious and appalled they would treat a customer this way. They immediately stopped talking to me and I continue to get letters from a collection agency. American Express is trying to rectify this at this time. Theses people play hardball and do not CARE at all about Consumer Rights. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
