Discount School Supply Online Store: More Stuff than You Can Dream Of

I am always on the hunt for new and different arts and crafts supplies for activities with my children, and actually came upon Discount School Supply Online Store quite by accident. I was hunting for a wheat and gluten-free play clay for my children, as my oldest is on a Gluten-Free, Casein-Free (GFCF) Diet, and my middle child has a wheat allergy. In my searches, I found Discount School Supply Online Store.

~&~ The Basics ~&~

When you first view the home page for Discount School Supply Online Store, your head will probably spin. There is so much available it must be hard to cram it all on there. Products are divided into categories Active Play, Arts and Crafts, Dramatic Play, Furniture, Infant/Toddler, Learning Centers, Manipulatives, After School, and Clearance Center. You can search for products, shop using the paper catalog, see craft ideas, and set up favorites lists for easy shopping.

Payment methods available are American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. Businesses (like schools) can also set up an account. Shipping fees are calculated at 15% of the order total, with a $5.00 minimum. Shipping is done via UPS Ground, unless shipping to a P.O. Box, in which case USPS Priority Mail is available.

~&~ My Experience ~&~

I found Discount School Supply Online Store searching for play clay. My daughter is on the GFCF diet, and we are still determining how sensitive she is to gluten. In addition, my second child has a wheat allergy, so regular play clays are out of the question for him.

I was hoping to be able to buy a commercially available product rather than have to experiment with recipes on my own. With three children, I'm always trying to find a short-cut, and Discount School Supply Online Store offers Colorations Wheat & Gluten Free Dough exclusively. For $18.97, I was able to get a 5.5 pound tub of eight different colors that looks (although doesn't smell) just like regular play clay.

Shipping, based on the percentage of my purchase, was only $5.00 to ship 5.5 pounds! The play clay arrived very quickly, was packed well, and has been a big hit. For the first time, my son is able to play with play clay, and my daughter has her other play clay toys back as well.

I now receive the paper catalog from Discount School Supply Online Store and am amazed at all the products they carry. I can't wait to try more of their products.

Some children on the autistic spectrum may benefit from a Gluten-Free, Casein-Free (GFCF) Diet. For more information on the GFCF Diet, visit http://www.gfcfdiet.com/.
