Finding an internet shop is not a problem at all nowadays, however, finding a good one is. I had looked at Dogfunk.com and often compared products and prices and such but had never purchased anything. After being attracted by their off-season sales and the never ending self-desire to upgrade my gear, I gave in and placed an order with Dogfunk.

What does Dogfunk sell?

Dogfunk sells a combination of snowboard gear, clothing, skateboards, and a variety of other things that could be classified with what could be called boardsports. The vast majority of the clothing could also be identified with the boardsport lifestyle or brands that make the gear. Dogfunk also has a large variety of snowboard accessories that I seemingly always need but can't get at a local shop. Most of the stuff I buy there is on sale, so I really can't complain about their prices.

Experience #1

The first item I ordered is/was the Foursquare Romero parka/jacket. It was an item I'd had my eye on for a while but never bought due to price. After seeing Dogfunk's off-season sale price, I almost instinctively whipped out the Visa, began punching in the numbers, and filled out my information. Doing all that was easy enough, and my order was placed. The page after you finish filling out your info says most orders take one or two days to process. For that reason I was very puzzled when three or four days after completing my order, it's status was still processing.

I waited about four more days before contacting customer service. This is something that I usually dread doing, but I knew this experience wouldn't be so bad. I knew it because Dogfunk allows you to chat live with a customer service rep in one click. The woman I chatted with was very helpful and when I checked the status of the order the next day, the status had changed to shipped. Honestly, I wasn't that upset because it was August and it wasn't like I needed the jacket yet anyway.

Shipping is free whenever you spend more than $50. I expected slow, budget shipping but was very pleased when the jacket arrived in three shipping days. Everything was inside their original package as per anyone would expect. Along with customer service, Dogfunk is also very committed to customer satisfaction with returns. You can send an item back for any reason in exchange for another item, cash back, or an exchange.

Experiences 2, 3, and 4 :)

After the first, I was a little hesitant to buy from here again, but another great deal helped me get over it. When you order the first time, you have the option of creating a sign-in tag to store your information to save you the cumbersome process of filling all of that in. Also, you receive a message saying that, because you're a returning customer, you order's been pushed to the front of the line - which is nice and could be the reason for the first order debacle.

Anyway, the second order went off without a hitch. I bought a pair of snowboard pants to complete my new on-mountain wardrobe. For my third and fourth orders, I bought some accessories and some more outerwear. Again, everything went perfectly.

Final Thoughts

Despite the delay on the first order, I wouldn't hesitate to order from or recommend Dogfunk to someone. They really care about your satisfaction and makes it easy for you to be satisfied.
