Assembly instructions poor. Manufacturing quality poor in that wood dowels were to small for the drilled hole. This caused assembled product to "wobble". I had to dis-assemble and re-assemble using industrial strength glue. This fixed the concern.
Manufacturing of parts is sloppy and poor.

The website was easy to use, the items were clearly described. Pricing appeared very straight forward - with no hidden "shipping and handling" charges.
However, it has been more than a week since I ordered the piece, and there has been no update from them regarding shipping. No tracking number, no e-mail indicating the item has shipped - but my credit card was charged the day the order was placed!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a Classic Flame Oak Fireplace, the order shipped about 2 weeks AHEAD of schedule which was fantastic, tracking was excellent. The only complaint that I have is the mantel of the fireplace has a flaw in the finish, I will have to call EF today to try and resolve, we'll see how that goes. Otherwise, so far, I liked the service and other than the flaw in the finish I love the fireplace. Glad I ordered it.

Very good product and service! The butcher-block kitchen island, a real deal at $199, was better than the photo online, and the delivery was very fast. Also, because of a computer glitch, 3 were ordered instead of one, but when I intercepted Fedex and sent the other 2 back unopened, I was promptly credited for the extra charges, and they waived the return charge and restocking fee.

Expecting to receive my order within two weeks of ordering on March 1st, and the merchant charging my credit card, I called during the third week.
I was informed that it was backordered until the middle of April.
When I had not received the merchandise by the end of April, I called again. The order had been shipped that day.
Ten days later, I received my order minus one bed. I waited another week to call because I thought it would arrive.
After not receiving the bed, I reported it to Everything Furniture, and two days later it was declared "lost". A second bed was ordered.
That bed made it all the way to Palm Springs, according to the FedEx Tracking. It was then returned to the shipper because of damage.
It took two weeks, nonreponsive phone calls and two very angry messages to get it across that I wanted satisfaction.
I then had to go to an alternative plan, and ordered a set of matching beds from another company.
I cancelled the bed order and requested that it be replaced with a dresser. As I could not get them to agree to credit my account for an entire bedroom set.
I am still waiting for the dresser.

Website was inconvenient and required three attempts to pay by credit card. Site kept asking for payment thru Paypal. Site said hope chest was, "back ordered until June". Order was placed June 3. I have received no shipping information, nor an expected date of shipping to date (6/10). I plan to give them one more week and then call. I would have withheld rating as my disatisfaction was with the website, not necessarily with the product or service. Yet! Your survey forced a rating, therefore the fair rating.

I ordered a twin sized mattress and platform bed. Unfortunately the mattress was out of stock and back ordered and we would have had to wait for about 6 weeks. I received a nice email from customer service clearly stating the problem and asking me what I would like to do. I phoned the customer service agent and opted to cancel the order for the mattress but to still purchase the platform bed. The again I spoke to assured me that I would be refunded either that day or the next day but that if I had any questions to not hesitate to call. I just received my bed, which is assembly required. It came in two packages but everything was packed nicely and labeled for ease. This company was a pleasure to do business with and I will do business with them in the future.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.
I recently ordered a large unit from Everything Furniture. Not only did it take over a week to get shipping information, but when I did I was told that the item would be left on the curb and that I would be responsible for getting the item into the house. I have furnished an entire home with furniture and appliances bought online and this is the first time something is being left on the curb. Even Sears goes as far as to bring a new mattress into the room (not just the front door). |

I bought an office chair about 3 weeks ago...no tracking number at all! I have no idea where the chair is! So, I looked elsewhere and found a better chair, cheaper, with free shipping and handling. I have heard that the return and refund policy is extremely difficult to deal with, so I am about to embarck on that journey! Hopefully, I can get my money back and in decent time. I cant imagine why it would take so long for a chair to be delivered when it was "supposed" to be shipped from two states away from me? I am fed up and I am not waiting any longer.... I would not reccommend this website to ANYONE!!!
