Looking at other reviews on this site, it's obvious that I'm not alone in my horrible experience with ftd.com. This seems to be the same old story...
- ordered flowers for Valentine's day delivery
- they showed up A DAY LATE!
While placing the order, If there is even a remote chance that delivery will not be timely, the company acting in good faith, should state that.
At the order fulfillment location, once they realize that the order will be late, a decent company would call (they have my phone number) or at least email (they have that too).
When I didn't receive the order by 8:00pm, I called them to attempt to cancel it. Their customer service line was so busy that I was immediately disconnected.
Days later I called into their customer service again, just to complain and explain to them that I am going to refuse the credit card charge. The FTD representative was very rude and constantly talking over me while I calmly stated my case. I politely asked her to stop doing that and her response was "I'm doing it because I can, hold please".
After requesting to speak with a manager after 10 minutes of this, I get transferred and disconnected.
You would think that a company that has been around as long as FTD and has based its business on convincing people of the importance of these types of holidays would know something about how to perform in these situations. It's amazing how wrong that assumption is. This company is completely worthless and I for one will never deal with them again.
