I ordered an arrangement to go to my daughter in Fontana, CA. They were delivered within 4 hours of placing my order online. She said they were beautiful and sent me a picture. It had pink roses and snapdragons and some other flower that I can't identify, but they were beautiful. The arrangement was even larger than what was shown on the website. I am extremely satisfied and I called to tell them so. I chose Customer Service and though there was a short couple minute wait, the people were nice and I was transferred to a supervisor immediately upon requesting one. I am quite happy and will be ordering for Graduation this evening.

I bought an arrangement for my grandmother's funeral. They did NOT deliver. After the service, when I complained, they offered me 10% off a new arrangement. Well, gee, not having the flowers at the funeral and getting a 10% discount, that would just make it all better! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS! |

Ordered flowers from ftd.com for my wife for delivery on our anniversary. Nothing on any of the on-line ordering pages indicated anything other than the order would be delivered on our anniversary. The flowers did not arrive until the day after our anniversary. Called their "customer service" and after waiting on hold for 45 minutes I gave up and sent them an email instead. After three business days with no response, I called them on the phone again. After a 35 minute wait, someone finally answered. They explained that it was a "UPS issue" and the best they could offer was a 20% refund. Got to a supervisor after an additional 20 minute wait on hold, and she would not budge either. Never mind that THEIR web site gave me no other choice than to use UPS, and that it confirmed that delivery would be made on our anniversary. I feel that this a blatant rip-off. If you are considering placing an order with ftd.com, my advice is to RUN AWAY!! Use proflowers.com or order directly from a local florist instead.

My experience with ordering from FTD.com was disaster. Ordered an arrangement of tulips and irises for Mother's Day; what arrived were 10 yellow roses, 3 of the heads broken off completely and the roses brown, and greens dried out. The flowers were sent from California to Florida! It took an hour wait to get them on the phone.
They have promised to resend and 'make it right.' We'll see, but I will absolutely never deal with them again. |

I ordered flowers to be delivered 5/12 in time for Mother's Day. DHL did not deliver that day, instead delivered 5/14 and left them on the doorstep. When the recipient opened the package, it contained the wrong flowers and wrong greeting card. And all two days late. I was unable to reach any customer service rep by phone and I sent two complaint emails and haven't heard back. I will be contacting my credit card company to stop payment.

Never order from this company! I ordered flowers to be delivered next day and chose from a special group on their website that are specifically available for same day or next day. If I knew they wouldn't deliver them until 5 days later I would've picked out different nicer flowers. I called the company 3 times and each time they told me they'd call me back after they found out what happened with the florist. Surprise, they never called me back. I emailed them as well and no response. They charged my credit card the full amount after I told them that I no longer wanted the flowers delivered since the day I wanted them delivered had past. I, embarassed, told the person I wanted them delivered too and she wasn't surprised. She had also had an awful experience with them where she had bought premium flowers and the flower were smaller than the standard picture! She also tried getting her money refunded and they never responded. They seem to have a history of bad service. I am never ordering from them again! I'm going back to Proflowers which is more affordable and has better service.

First they charged my debit card twice. I thought my account information had been stolen when I saw a 120 dollar charge onit. After an hour on hold, they told me this was standard operating and they would remove the charge after delivery! WHAT? I tried to cancel my order but since it was the day before delivery they refused. My flowers showed up on my moms door at six pm, and get this, they were the WRONG flowers. A dozen roses when I had ordered a daisy arrangement (my moms favorite flowers). Roses actually have a bad tie to my dad in my family, so, needless to say I am angry! I am currently on hold (40 minutes in) and I'm hoping for a full refund. This was a terrible experience!

I was not pleased with this delivery service. I tried to surprise my friend at work with a beautiful bouquet... what she received were some uncut flowers and a vase. She had to find a way to cut them and then assemble her bouquet-- all at her desk!!! It was humiliating for me and very expensive given the product she received!! I contacted the company and this was the response I got:

NOT RECOMMENDED - No communication regarding the shipment of my order, the carrier, or tracking information. When calling to find out the status of the order 4 different times throughout the day, after getting through the menu system, I get a busy signal. The flowers were not delivered on time. Extremely disappointed and will never shop here again!

Ordered a dozen roses and was confirmed for delivery that same day. They did not deliver. Nor did the deliver the next day. As of this time; they have not delivered. They refuse to cancel the order and have no way to find out the status. You can not call or speak with anyone. You get canned "we are sorry" emails and nothing more. I am challenging the credit card charge and taking the matter up with the bank. In short, FTD has TERRIBLE, NON-EXISTENMT customer service; they do not care at all about the customer. There is no way to track and order and no way to get an answer to anything. Avoid the trouble and NEVER use FTD.COM. Take thetime and call yourirder into a local florit on the phone. |

The bouquet of roses I ordered for my wife looked magnificent on FTDs web site; it even included a box of Godiva chocolates. Ordering was easy and I did get a confirmation e-mail and tracking number with the delivery scheduled for next day. The next day, however, the entire experience took a turn for the worse. The bouquet did not look anything like the picture on the website, the flowers were faded, short and not at all romantic. The chocolate box turned out to be the smallest possible size (again, it looked bigger in the picture). All in all, I felt embarrassed to have given this bouquet to my wife. There are flowers of much better quality available at your neighborhood grocery store for a fraction of the price.

Ordered on website, got confirmation of same day delivery. Sisters dog died and it was very important to me to send something the same day. Trusted FTD.....big mistake. At 4:30pm I was notified they would not be able to deliver. Did not offer to call many florists for me. Only will give a refund or deliver the next day. I had to make 6 long distance calls but found a florist that helped me at the last minute. Unacceptable. Supervisor Vicky terminated my call as I asked her to call more florists this was unacceptable. Don't ever trust them if it is important to you.

Order was not received on Valentines day and when I tried to contact them through email....(about 20 emails now)....kept getting the same messages back that resolved NOTHING!!!! Now I am on the phone...first call had me waiting for a half hour...finally spoke with someone and was being transferred to a supervisor and then was disconnected. Called again.....21 mins. now.....waiting for a supervisor....
*Update* It has now been over an hour....talked to 4 different people now...waiting for another supervisor. Starting to think there is some sort of discrimination going on with this company considering that a male customer received a FULL refund with the EXACT SAME situation and I am being told I can not receive a refund! I bought roses for my fiancé from FTD for Valentines Day. I hope what happen to me doesnt happen to anyone else. The flowers arrived a day late, and half dead. Their guarantee is a joke Ive sent four emails to FTD and they do not respond to my emails. It took 10 phone calls over a course of 5 days to reach anyone on the phone.. Then they offered me $10 off of a $100 purchase
Since I bought flowers they keep emailing me to come buy more flowers (Spam) and they wont take me off their email list. I've submitted my email address to be removed from their list.. and like my other emails that have ignored the request. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! |

FTD has to have the worst online service ever. I ordered Valentine's flowers for my wife on 2/12 and received back an email confirmation that the delivery date was 2/14. They never arrived. FTD's customer service was not accepting phone calls at all on 2/14 and 2/15, and had over a 60 minute wait on 2/16. Their internet message options were very limited. When requesting an order status, all you woukd get back is a generic message that your order was with a local florist. Turns out this was absolutely false. Finally got through on 2/17. The representative had no explanation other than my order 'dropped out of the system for no apparent reason.' The best she could offer was another delivery - minus the service charge - for 2/20, six days late. SAVE YOUR.SELF THE TROUBLE AND NEVER ORDER FLOWERS THROUGH FTD

Order 18 roses for my wife for Valentine's Day and they arrived at 7pm, opened the box and they looked a little stale, went to dinner, and by the time we returned from dinner all but one rose was drooped over nearly dead. I tried to call FTD.com the evening of V-Day and my call was dropped stating too high a call volume. Also tried up until Saturday and same thing. Sunday and Monday call wait times were 60minutes. I still haven't heard from them after half a dozen email with photos of the horrible flowers. Bad service, bad product, and bad experience. I will never buy from again. My wife's Mom got her some grocery store flowers ($12) last are still alive and well. The roses only made it 24hrs before they were dead ($100).

I ordered flowers for V. Day several weeks in advance. It's now a full week past V. Day and we still have no flowers. My credit card has been charged, but FTD won't talk to me on the phone, and the on-line order status tool is also non-responsive. I will never purchase from FTD again.

My husband ordered his mom and I flowers for Valentine's Day. We live in Oregon, and his mom is in Hawaii. Her flowers were supposed to arrive the day before the holiday and mine the day of. The day after Valentine's Day neither of us had received anything. They charged us $142 for NOTHING. No flowers, phone call, email, apology, NOTHING. After complaining to customer service, they sent a generic email blaming weather conditions so they had to cancel the order. Fortunately they said we will be receiving a full refund (hopefully). But for the record, weather in Oregon was a light sprinkle, and Hawaii was gorgeous as usual. I recommend that if you want to buy flowers for a loved one, find a florist near them and never order from FTD.com ever.

My Valentine order was still not there two days later. All attempts to reach them to ask about order at their 1=800 number never answered, except for one time that said I could expect a 60 minute wait. All e-mail answers were "pat" answers with "friendly" little quips that they appreciated hearing from me, etc. But, no real answer. I think they need to close their business, it is so bad. My overall satisfaction is: it is the worst experience I have ever had with anything. Is hard for me to even find the words that describe how bad it is.

Ordered for delivery on Valentines day. Flowers arrived on the 15th and were wilting and broken. Can't get ahold of anyone at FTD.com, I guess I'm not the only one calling to complain. Save yourself the headache and buy elsewhere. It's bad enough they flowers were late, it is kind of crucial that Valentines flowers get there on Valentines day, but to arrive looking like they did is beyond bad business.

Like pretty much everyone on the forum, my Valentine's was ruined because of FTD... THEN, they have the audacity to turn off their phones and not answer customer service calls. My husband ordered me a dozen long-stem roses in a vase with filler on Tuesday February, 13. Granted it is a little bit late, he was still guaranteed next-day delivery. Well, it is Friday February 16th @ 2pm and I JUST received the delivery. Not only are the roses LATE but they came in a BOX with no vase, dried out and wilted.
My husband paid $100 for a beautiful Valentine's bouquet to surprise me at my office. The roses I received, however, were more of an embarrassment (arriving 2 days late) and then being wilted and dead. I will never use FTD again. They have horrible customer service and actually refuse to be held accountable for it. I will now be contacting the BBB to take further action. |
