TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
I PLACED MY ORDER ON 12-29-06. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD SHIP WITHIN 24 HOURS AND THAT IT WOULD TAKE 4 TO 6 BUSINESS DAYS FOR THE SHIPMENT TO ARRIVE TO ME BY UPS GROUND. I WAS E-MAILED THAT MY ORDER WAS SHIPPED BY UPS GROUND ON 12-29-06 AND THAT THE UPS TRACKING NO. WAS 1ZE40W910353057290 AND THAT THE SCHEDULED DELIVERY DATE WAS 1-5-07. THE ORDER WAS CANCELLED FOR SOME REASON FOR SOME REASON ON 1-8-07 SO I CALLED UPS TO FIND OUT WHY, THEY SAID THAT YOU HAD CANCELLED MY ORDER FOR SOME REASON LIKE THEY HAD THE BILLING INFORMATION BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PACKAGE FROM YOU TO SHIP TO ME. I THEN CALLED FOLICA TO SEE WHY THEY CANCELLED MY ORDER AND THEY TOLD ME THAT UPS HAD CANCELLED THE DELIVERY FOR SOME REASON BUT THEY DID NOT KNOW WHY. IT WAS LIKE NOBODY WANTED TO TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ORDER BEING CANCELLED. I AM A QUADRIPLEGIC AND I TOLD THEM THAT IT WAS A GIFT FOR MY NURSE FOR HER BIRTHDAY ON 1-12-07. THEY SAID THAT THEY WERE OUT OF THE RED STAINLESS STEEL CASES BUT THAT THEY HAD THEM IN SILVER. I TOLD THEM THAT I WOULD GO AHEAD AND TAKE THE SILVER CASE BECAUSE THEY SAID THAT THE RED ONES WOULD NOT BE IN FOR 2 TO 3 WEEKS. THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD SHIP MY ORDER THIS WEEK AND THAT IT WOULD GO OUT 2ND DAY AIR AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO ME. YOU BILLED ME FOR 179.95 SEVERAL DAYS AGO. I WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT THE SILVER CASE BUT I NEEDED THE GIFT FOR A PRESENT. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UNHAPPY THAT THIS WHOLE PROBLEM HAPPENED BUT I HOPE I RECEIVE THIS ORDER BY 1-12-07 AS PROMISED. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THIS WAS NOT A VERY PLEASANT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE FOR ME AND THAT I WILL THINK TWICE BEFORE EVER USING YOUR WEBSITE FOR MY SHOPPING NEEDS AGAIN UNLESS FOLICA CAN MAKE ME HAPPY WITH THIS ORDER AFTER THE HEADACHE THEY CAUSED ME.

I thought that the on-line purchase form was deceptive. Noted that postage was free, but when the final totals were added, there were only two options for mailing and both involved costs. If there are promotionals for free postage, those should have been accounted for on your order form. I was also disappointed that the immediate survey after the purchase did not allow me to make this comment.

Item I ordered is still on back order; however, when I purchased the item from the website, it was not listed as a back order item. Also, when I received the email from Folica stating that my item was on back order, it did not specify which of the two items I ordered was causing the delay. The email was very generic, and I haven't received any sort of notification regarding my order since the back order notice was sent. I will never purchase items from this online retailer ever again, and if I don't receive an update soon, I may be tempted to cancel this order and make my purchases elsewhere.

I ordered, before christmas, this was a present for my daughter, one of her bigger presents, since it was very expensive, it did NOT arrive by christmas, although I ordered, a couple of weeks prior to it, and I was NOT notified till AFTER Christmas that my order did not go through, and I needed to replace order again..I was VERY upset, I reordered, sent mail to them was NOT mailed back, was NOT given any credit, nor explanation from them directly, no return correspondence at all, altho I did receive the flatiron after my 2nd attempt at ordering, it was very dissappointing to have 4 children at christmas and one not receive her big gift, thank god she is 14 and is understandable...Folica should have followed up with SOMETHING<

They have a great selection of products and also consumer reviews. The prices are good. What really impressed me was when I got the package: each bottle of lotion was separately wrapped very carefully, and they enclosed a lined canvas makeup bag as a premium -- I wasn't expecting that! This was my first time shopping at Folica, but I will shop there again in the future based on this experience. :)
