Return Runaround HASSLE

Return Runaround. Their policy is supposed to be "Hassle Free" but it is a COMPLETE HASSLE. "If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase,within 30 days of receipt for a full refund, excluding shipping fees." I tried to do that, per their instructions, which are not so easy to follow. Log in, go to returns, submit to agree to their long return policy - which is not the same as the brief paragraph you can see when you are buying- including having to write an essay on why you are returning the product and give a contact phone number. Then a notice that you have to wait 2 days to see if your "request is granted".
I did all of the above, saying that I was returning the accessories for the stroller seat that still had not arrived within the 30 day period because I couldn't try them without the stroller seat. I'd re-order perhaps after the stroller seat arrived. There was no copy of my essays sent to me.
I got back the same day the following:

Not even the order number, my name, the name of the person I was calling, reference to which of the two requests I made- that's it. I dutifully called the number and got voicemail asking me to leave my contact phone number.

I left the whole story on the voicemail and also wrote back to the "customer service" address on the above email, with my order number and explanation of my complete dissatisfaction with this whole affair. Business people should reply to customers using the same medium as they are contacted, a phone call returns a phone call, an online order and email confirmation returns with email correspondence. Never mind that the order I am waiting for is also late without notice, and that I have been a good customer of Happy Mothers since last year, buying over $1000 of goods on my first order.

Naturally, I am very upset about this, my return is for almost $500- and I still don't know where the other items are and if they will fit and if I will have to go through all this for another $500 return!
