Everything went fine, no problems, item shipped promptly (MSI GX620-001US laptop.)  Price was listed as $750 with $50 rebate.  Bought in August, still waiting for rebate!  :(  Not J & R's fault though.

I ordered a computer from J&R while deployed to Iraq almost a year ago.  The computer never showed up and their customer service department keeps running me around with policy changes for their insurance claims.  If this was the last electronics store on the planet I would still recommend against shopping there.

They helped me out with the return of an opened laser cartridge I purchased in error, even though the seal was broken. I would have been out $140 but I was able to use that to purchase the correct cartridges.

This is my second Great purchase experience with J&R, my first was a Onkyo THX Certified receiver two months ago. On this order the Acer monitor arrived very quickly in 3 days as my last order did and in "Perfect Condition" Their great customer service and pricing will earn my loyalty whenever i am looking for any home electronics.

I had purchased a Optoma projector from another online company but had terrible service. They confirmed the order but from that point on everything went downhill. They promised me the projector by the end of the week but I never received it even after 3 follow phone calls during the week.  Empty promises. They even sent me an email that it was shipped but never provided a tracking number. Deception. It was never shipped because it was on backorder. I cancelled the order.

J&R is complete different. I order the projector over the phone on a Monday. That evening I received a tracking number and I receive the projector 2 days later - as promised!!! I paid just a little bit more but it was well worth it. I was completed satisfied with their service and would highly recommend them.

I've been shopping with J&R for close to 2 decades for business as well as personal purchases and rarely have problems with them. Delivery speed is excellent as well as the accuracy of the online tracking. Customer Service is wonderful and do their best to resolve problems when they happen which is only occasionally. I recommend J&R to all my friends and co-workers. When I want something right away, I look on their site first before I shop around, and most of the time I return to purchase what I want. On a scale of 1 to 5 I give J&R a high 5!

I have not installed my computer because I am still waiting for the Windows 7 upgrade and cannot receive any information as to my order status from Gateway or their affiliate.   I would not have ordered this product had I known
of the inability to obtain Windows 7 in a timely manner.   If I had been advised by JR of this problem, I would have ordered another product.   However, in all fairness, maybe JR did not know of the Windows 7 backlog in manufacturing and shipping.

J&R continues to be my supplier of choice for state-of-the-art electronics.  This is at least the 3rd time that I have made a significant purchase from J&R.  This time I challenged J&R on their "price matching" policy.  They met and exceeded the competition.  As always Customer Service was knowledgeable, courteous and professional.

I PLACED AN ORDER FOR A IPOD WITH J&R ABOUT 4 WEEKS AGO,THAT MY SON PURCHASED WITH HIS 13TH BIRTHDAY MONEY AND HE IS STILL WAITING FOR IT. The packet of photo paper I ordered arrived in a timely fashion, but was packed in a shipping envelope that was padded but not rigid. The photo paper packet was bent and damaged. My email query to J&R resulted in a quick response, and a replacement order made that same day. I soon received another paper packet that was shipped in much more rigid packaging. The customer service I received from J&R was outstanding and which I very much appreciated.

I was looking for a set of Polk speakers so I searched Google to find suppliers that offered the best price on a pair. Polk speakers are "fair traded" so I didn't expect a big discount or a big difference between suppliers. Was referred to JR as having the best price and most reliable service and they performed accordingly. Price was right and delivery as they promised, with lots of communications throughout the process.

I use VersaCheck to pay my bills because my handwritting is getting worse as I get older. I noticed that I was running low on the blank check paper and started looking for some. I tried a local stationary store and they didn't have check paper for the VersaCheck software. I then went on line and found several places that did have it, but the price seemed a little high to me. I then checked the J&R Online Store and found VersaCheck paper and at a lower price than the other stores I had checked on the Internet. In addition, I happened to look up this site while they were offering free shipping. That made the cost of the VersaCheck paper I ordered even more desireable. I ordered the check paper and received it in a couple of days and packed very nicesly, so the paper was not damagaed in any way.  I give J & R Music and Computer World high marks and would recommend them to anyone.

I have made two transactions with J & R.  The first was an order of three hot lather machines for shaving.  The price was great and the shipping FAST!  My second transaction was the purchase of a 32" LCD HDTV for our bedroom.  J & R's price beat any other price I could find by at least $10, and the shipping was unbelievably fast - and free!  The TV arrived securely packaged and in perfect condition.  We hooked it up as soon as it arrived, and we are totally pleased with it.

J&R shipped the item when they stated they would, delivered on the faster shipment method I chose, and the item came well packaged, just as advertised.  I was very satisfied with my experience with them.

They carried the Gateway SX2800, which almost no online retailers carried.  I was very glad then that they had a good online reputation.  They carried it for a very good price, and there were no strongarm tactics, attempts to add on products, calls after the fact, bait and switch or other typical poor online service tactics.  Other than a survey request after the fact, I have not been deluged with spam.

The item itself has been everything it advertised, fast, quiet, slim a very good computer for a budget price, it blows other budget PCs away in everything but expandability.  I highly suggest it.

Previously I ordered several electronic items from another large, famous online retailer and had nothing but problems, ranging from the item being stolen and receiving only an empty box to receiving defective merchandise (twice in a row, no less).  When I called JR and asked them to met the price of this other retailer, the person handling the call did so immediately. Then, there was very fast delivery at no extra charge. I ordered Sat night, the package was on my doorstep Tuesday.  I've been very pleased with JR--reliable, never any problems and great prices.

I was checking on the price of Sennheiser 140 wireless headphones for a while when J & R showed up on my search at a great price. I had to call and see if it was the base and headphones or just the headphones. The customer service person (Darryl) was very helpful and he assured me it was the entire unit and then offered to place the order for me. I ordered on 9/25 and the box was on my front porch on 9/29. The product was great, customer service was great and the delivery time was faster than I ever expected. What more could you ask for from a company? Shopping at J&R is always a pleasure.  In my state I pay 8% sales tax and when I get free shipping I really get a bargin.  In addition UPS brings it to my door.  The products are as advertised, service is great.  I live on the West Coast , a little remote and yet delivery is timely.  The product that I ordered at this time works great for what I needed.  Monitor for my netbook and tv for my leadsinger Karoke system.  Lightweigt so I can carry it to events in the community room at the apt complex.   I have ordered several times from J&R and never been dissappointed.   Thanks
