Previously I ordered several electronic items from another large, famous online retailer and had nothing but problems, ranging from the item being stolen and receiving only an empty box to receiving defective merchandise (twice in a row, no less). When I called JR and asked them to met the price of this other retailer, the person handling the call did so immediately. Then, there was very fast delivery at no extra charge. I ordered Sat night, the package was on my doorstep Tuesday. I've been very pleased with JR--reliable, never any problems and great prices.

I was checking on the price of Sennheiser 140 wireless headphones for a while when J & R showed up on my search at a great price. I had to call and see if it was the base and headphones or just the headphones. The customer service person (Darryl) was very helpful and he assured me it was the entire unit and then offered to place the order for me. I ordered on 9/25 and the box was on my front porch on 9/29. The product was great, customer service was great and the delivery time was faster than I ever expected. What more could you ask for from a company? This my second experience shopping with J & R and both were great. Thanks J & R for another satisfying intenet shopping experience.

Shopping at J&R is always a pleasure. In my state I pay 8% sales tax and when I get free shipping I really get a bargin. In addition UPS brings it to my door. The products are as advertised, service is great. I live on the West Coast , a little remote and yet delivery is timely. The product that I ordered at this time works great for what I needed. Monitor for my netbook and tv for my leadsinger Karoke system. Lightweigt so I can carry it to events in the community room at the apt complex. I have ordered several times from J&R and never been dissappointed. Thanks

Shopping experience was good; however, product WAS NOT. Regardless of what I do, I cannot get the product to work. This is the second time I've purchased a product of this nature, and as before, IT DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED. A wasted purchase that will end up in the garbage can. I tried everything to make this product work, rebooting (several times), disabling my firewall and virus programs, etc. I don't know what it is about these USB all radio channels products, but they do not live up to their hype. I know we all use different virus and firewall programs, but the vendor or manufacturer should make provisions to make their product work on the most popular security programs. As it now stands, I will never order another product such as this. It is such a hassle trying to return products that I would prefer dumping it than waste my time, its too precious to me.

I ordered the WRT54G2 wireless router (refurbished) on a Wednesday night and I received it next Friday morning. Unfortunately the router did not work as I expected. I called Customer Service and explained the problem. The representative suggested an other model for my home network. He did not try to sell me some expensive model which I did not need. Horrible experience as I needed a camcorder to be delivered in 1 day, but J and R did not process the order promptly and I could not record the birth of my first kid.
I called them complaining and trying to find a solution, but instead their customer service attendant did not care, and near the end of the call she asked: "Do you want to cancel your order or not"? Not for a single moment I was impolite or irritated. Just to make things worse I paid extra to have it delivered the next day, which did not work either. I ended up canceling the purchase and they did not care either. |

I recently purchased a new PC and wanted to up grade it to Office and Outlook 2007. I viewed a number of competing online sellers and determined J&R had the best pricing. I called the store to ask one question and while I was speaking to a sales associate, I decided to place the order with him. Almost immediately after I hung up the phone, I received an electronic confirmation of the order. The items were shipped prior to the time I thought they would and I received them earlier then J&R committed. I am extremely pleased with the way they handled this transaction and will come back to them again for future online purchases.

A few internet companies will get an order shipped the same day for a repeat customer. J&R MUsic and Computer World had sent me a tracking number for my FIRST order in less than 4 hours and on my very first order.
Their prices are very good and their shipping was even better than excellent. What more could one ask for from a company? If only all net companies were this capable.... |

I am happy with the product I purchaced at JR but unhappy with the delivery time. Your advertisement says usually ships in 2 days. I orded my computer Sept. 10th and didn't receive it until Sept. 21st. Eleven days is a far cry from 2 days. Pony Express would have been faster.

I recently ordered the Research In Motion ASY14396001 BlackBerry Charging Pod for a Blackberry 8130. I previously had ordered two other pods. The prices for all these genuine Blackberry charging stands was exactly half of what they are at the Blackberry.com site.
When you order these pods, the base shipping is through the postal service. (They allow you to buy faster delivery services, but I chose the cheaper route.) JR.com will say this shipping normally take 5-7 business days. Two of the pods came in only 4 days. One pod came in about 9 days, but that was after a holiday period. All charging pods came exactly as ordered. I'm very happy with the orders and will certainly order from JR.com again. I've bought merchandise from them for at least 15 years. |

Bought a $700 Nokia N97 while on holiday in NYC clearly stating it is intended for use in Europe. Returned to Europe to find the phone has major software and hardware flaws (camera taking verz bad photos; GPS not being able to find signal; very poor reception even in open air; software crashing,etc). Phone warranty valid only for US, so could not repair it in Europe for free. After 4 phonecalls and 12 e-mails from 4 different people @ J&R, my issue has still not been solved. Beware what you are buying from them and always check the warranty if you are leaving US. Forget about customer support once you have paid!

I have ordered about 100 MP-3's over the last few years from J&R, and several stereo components and speakers. I load the MP-3s with audio files for language training. On a rare occasion when I have a problem, contacting customer service is a simple and satisfactory process. Returns are handled effectively. Good customer service is a result of good training and committment. The prices are hard to beat, and delivery is quick. I watch for deals and shipping breaks. I have always been very satisfied.
