As I've said in other reviews, I don't like to shop. While my wife considers a trip to the mall to be a treat, I consider it a chore. So online shopping seemed like the thing for me, once I got over the fear of someone stealing my credit card number (Those media scare stories about online shopping are...well...scary.)

But the J. Crew Online Store is a good find. The clothes are top quality, and as a result, often carry a hefty price tag. But J. Crew Online Store features sale items every day (some seasonal, some not) that offer huge mark-downs.

I've made three orders in the last few months, and two out of three were good experiences. The one order that was disappointing was the first. Of the 7 items I ordered, only 3 ended up being in stock. Of the 3 that arrived, 2 didn't look like they did on the website, and I returned them.

A word about the return process. Everything worked out, but it took a long time. I requested an exchange, and the items I requested took a little over a month to arrive from the time I sent the exchange items back.

But the other 2 experiences were great. The items arrived on-time and I was pleased with what I got.

The pros of this store are the quality of the clothes and the sale prices. The cons are that exchanges take awhile, and the prices on the non-sale items, for me at least, are out of reach.
