I recently ordered a watch from them on-line - everything was ok except that the description of the watch as a "self winding automatic movement" was not correct as the watch that was delivered has a quartz movement.  The difference in value between a watch that has an automatic movement and a quartz movement can be substantial, and I would not have ordered the watch had I known it had a quartz movement.  Their web site still shows this watch for sale with a "self winding automatic movement".  I called to get instructions for a return and the first person I spoke with did not offer to cover the cost of the return.  I called back and spoke with someone and they agreed to issue me a return shipping label, but they did not seem upset or even apologize about the incorrect description.

I'm always a little leary when using a company for the first time via the Internet, but everything went fine. The company I usually order this particular brand/model of watch was out of stock. I was pleased to be able to order the same watch from another company.

Jacob Time are swindlers. I ordered a Victorinox watch which was supposed to ship with two different straps (in the original package), but I was only sent one. Furthermore, the watch was totally defective:
a) I was unable to set the dateb) the second hand was bent
Having paid 49 euros to my local customs authority, as well as the 30+ euros to ship the watch back to Jacob Time, I am obviously displeased with the kind of service I got with this order. How is it even ethical for a watch company to be sending DEFECTIVE watches to customers?
Never shopping here, and will be telling friends about this experience.

The warranty card is not signed and it says "WARRANTY NOT VALID UNLESS IMPRINTED WITH NAME OF AUTHORIZED MOVADO DEALER AND SIGNED AND DATED BELOW. So, how can I avail, in case necessary? The bracelet doesn't fit me too, so I need to still go to a watch repair shop to have it adjusted.

They shipped the first watch with a problem. They told me they knew where the problem happened and then shipped another or the same watch with the same problem. I had to pay for the return postage and then a re-stocking fee. This whole disaster cost me over one hundred dollars and a lot of time. They still don't think they have a problem. This is not worth the fight to get my lost money. I ordered from another supplier in Texas. Received the watch on time without ANY problems. Tell Jacobtime that I am not the problem and I will tell everyone I know about my raw deal.

I ordered a watch from them & they emailed me later stating that they did not have it in stock & said it might possibly be in stock to ship out in 14 days. No guarantee. That is not acceptable. They should not have a product on their wwebsite that they do not have in stock. This put me ordering another watch for my DH birthday late they should have notified me right away not a week later. However after I emailed them my complaint they never responded with words they just refunded my money.

The reason for the poor rating is that I ordered two watches and only one came. I had asked to receive updates on the items through email, but received none, and didn't find out until I called their customer service that they wouldn't get that watch again and that they were sold out. The deals on this site is great and the one watch that did come was in great shape, new with all of the tags. But the company needs to inform the consumer if their product wont be coming or will be late because I was worried that I would be charged for two and had to make contact with my credit card to insure that I wasn't.
