No issues. I was able to exchange the lamp shades at a local outlet with no hassles. #6 needs an N/A option. I had to select "something" in order to Submit.

A few months ago, I purchased a modern lookong pendant chandelier from Lamps Plus.  The price was $300.00. 

The shades were advertised as black and the salesman verified that they were black.

The shades were a medium brown when lit.  I phoned and e mailed several times.  Finally I reached a salesman who said the manufacturer would contact me.  NO RESPONSE from Lamps Plus or the mfg.

I emailed with a review, a positive one one of the lamp other than a color problem with the 2 shades.  They never published the review since I mentioned the total lack of customer care after the sale.

Lamps Plus salespeople are very very friendly before the sale but there is absolutely no customer service after the sale.  I only wanted them to follow up on an incorrect shade color but nothing.

I clearly would not recommend dealing with this company.  I have purchased from other lighting companies before and customer service after the sale have been stellar on the rare occasion I needed assistance.

The product had a good deal more assembly required than I anticipated. Although not indicated in the catalog, the chandelier components, of which there was over a thousand, had to be hand assembled to make the finished unit. This operation took about 8 hours. I would have preferred to know that fact prior to purchase. Other than that, the product was complete and of expected quality.

I ordered two fixtures. The George Kovacs is just what I wanted. The other -- made in China -- is designed to descend stright from three vertical [largely decorative] chains. Instead, they were wrongly attached in a criss-cross way. My electrician fixed it, at the cost of an extra 1-1 1/2 hours labor. [Returning the fixture, and having him come back, would have cost me still more.]

The lamp bases were shipped and I wasn't notified that they were out of shades. I had to call to find this out. That was my only complaint. They worked with me and offered a credit to my account if I didn't want to wait (which they didn't know how long)for the shades to come into the warehouse. I love the lamps and would order from them again. Customer Service were very courteous

I return the item as it arrived broken, and the size was too large. I called to request a RMA and told the women that I did not want a replacement, but a refund. I called the company last week to find out about my return, and was told that a replacement lamp should be shipped shortly. I told the man I didn't want a replacement, I requested a refund. Now I have to wait to see if the cancellation of the replacement was received in time before a new lamp was shipped. So far I haven't been very impressed with their service.

I had to return the light kit because the electrician said it wouldn't fit the fan. Return shipping cost way too much -almost what I'd paid for the kit. Won't order again.
