Personally I am not really a fan of the type of things this store sell, but I've been receiving catalogs from the store regularly (probably other mail order companies given my name and address to Land's End), so I sometimes open their catalogs and find something looks nice for my family. I have purchased a T-shirt and a dress for baby and a pair of shoes for me last year, and a pair of men's slipper for my husband for Christmas last week. there were few things I didn't like about their service and products-#1. I understand that the store care about customers' satisfaction and want to be polite or want to be their favorite store, but isn't that too much to call me to ask if I got package on time or if I was happy with what I purchased after my first order? #2. I was surprised by the phone call which I mentioned in #1, but more surprised when I got the 2 nd phone call from the store about a month later that was after I had moved out of previous address. Yes, the store had found out where I moved to and knew my new phone# although I had never notified and never shopped from new address! then asked me the same questions in #1, this was weird, and violation of privacy, I guess. #3The color of shoes I bought for myself was different than I thought(but I found the shoes in Clearance dept only at $9.99 which originally $24 or so, and returning heavy item like shoes cost me return postage, probably need to pay $6 even via USPS percel, it's stupid to pay $6 for getting $9.99 refund for the item, so I had decided to keep the shoes).

Now good things about the store, the slippers I bought for my husband last week was very good design and material. was bit expensive, but my husband loved them and wears them everyday, (that's important), and I had purchased gift card also. there were 2 options - plastic gift card or e-mailed one. I was in hurry, so I chose e-mail one, it arrived fast!! the store said it may take up to 3-4 hours for delivery, but I got much faster than that.

Since the slippers I bought for my husband was so good, I felt like I want one for myself too, now it's on sale and cheaper(was $39 Now $24.99) and I had amazon.com gift card, so I ordered one for me today via amazon.com (you can shop Land's End merchandise on Amazon.com and can use amazon.com gift cards, just go to amazon.com and type Land's end in apparel or amazon.com category in search engine).

And one more good thing about the store, order processing and shipping/delivery is fast! if you shop with the store often, you should sign up their news letter(e-mail). I received a coupon for free shipping (that was 2nd day UPS delivery) this kind of offer is always helpful to save money.
