I made the order on June 24th at 6:00 am Indaina time and paid more for 2 day air so that it would get here in 2 days. On the 3rd day when it still was not here I called to find out why and all she would tell me is that she would have to get the tracking info from their purchasing departmaent and call me back to let me know where it was. She told me she would call me by a 2:00pm my time and so when that did not happen I called back and talk to some one else that told me the same thing and said one of them would call me back that day to let me know where my package that I had already paid for was and when it would be getting to me. I NEVER got a call and the finally got here on June 30th 6 days later so I would say never PAY to get it to you sooner because you will not get it.

A little over two years ago I bought three replacement batteries for a Zen Micro MP3 player. While the original battery that came with the player is still going strong, all three batteries from Laptops for Less have failed. The vendor says they cannot do anything since the batteries are outside the 1-year warranty. I would understand their position if I experienced an isolated failure, but since all three failed (and the original battery from Creative is still good), I have to conclude that the batteries I bought from them are defective or poor quality. Since they offer no remedies, I assume that they consider this acceptable performance for their batteries. I will not order from them again because I have no reason to believe any products I might buy from them would be of any better quality.

I ordered power supply for my notebook. They charged my credit card right away. Next day they sent me shipping confirmation with Fedex tracking number. After a week that number was still pending on Fedex WEB site. I sent them 2 e-mails - there were no response.
I called them - they said that package will be delivered next day. Another week passed - no package. After 3 weeks they refunded me and didn't notify me about this. |

Do not waste your money with LaptopsForLess!! They would not replace an obviously defective RPTV lamp (it violently shattered inside my TV) about one month after the 90 day warranty expired. I was trying to save a few bucks, and I got scammed instead!! I have learned that the reputable RPTV lamp retailers offer a 6 month or 1 year warranty because this is so common. If you don't get a normal warranty, then you ARE going to end up paying double in the end because these lamps run extremely hot. LaptopsForLess knows this and they're selling to suckers (like me) who don't know any better. Customer service was horrible as well because they took forever and were rude even though I was trying to be polite. They're just looking to milk money from people who are bargain shopping. I hope this review helps other people avoid becoming a victim of this company!

I was able to find the item pretty easily and appreciated having overnight shipping available as my old one was shooting off sparks and unsafe for use. My only complaint is that the new AC Adaptor has a jack that fits the computer but does not fit snugly, so it's falling out all the time. But the main thing is I can run the computer off AC and charge the battery, I'll probably rig up some kind of clip to hold the jack in place.

I returned a purchase I made within the time frame they a lot but to my surprise, they charged a restocking fee.
When you go into your account from the invoice they send you via email,look up there return policy, there is no mention of a restocking charge. Don't assume that you are on their web site, because you are not! When you call customer service to get a RMA# in order to return an item, the customer service rep does not inform you of this charge either. After calling and receiving my RMA from their customer service rep, I thought I had all the info I needed. |

In september 2007, I purchased a laptop battery from this company. In December it failed, so I called customer support, received an RMA number, and returned the battery for replacement. The USPS delivery confirmation shows that they received the battery almost two months ago, but they have not yet sent a replacement. I have called their customer service on several occasions and they acknowledge that they received the returned product, and then they proceed to give me FED-EX tracking numbers that are bogus. I have paid for the battery, but have nothing. I now realize that I've been ripped-off and plan to contact the BBB and FTC.

I placed the order for the Laptop Battery on-line on 28 Dec 07 while I was visiting my son in South Carolina using Broadband. I was notified it would be delivered by 4 Jan 08 via FedX. I live in a very rural area in the mountains of East Tennessee and deliveries are not made every day. The battery arrived on the late evening of 9 Jan 08. I made a call the day before to check on the battery delivery status and was placed on hold for 15 or so minutes and then disconnected. I tried tracking it on-line and unfortunately we live so far away from facilities, all we have available is dial-up and that did not work either. Other than that, we are happy

I am in the process of trying to get the correct battery sent to me. The wrong battery was clearly labeled, and the packing slip had the correct battery listed. Pretty poor quality control, I would say. The order was not complicated...
