ONLINE IS VERY SUBSTANDARD UNLESS THE PRODUCT IS READY TO SHIP

Ordered a wedding gift on 9/10 (wedding date was 9/23); on 10/14 I wrote asking what the status was; told it was back ordered. Wrote to complain, told sorry won't be charged until gift was sent (duh?). The wedding party wasn't notified that I had even ordered them anything. Was told that they would be contacted, haven't been notified if they were; they say no. On 10/25 got this "We regret to inform you that we are unable to complete your order. We
sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. The following item(s) are unavailable and have been cancelled from
your order".

Wrote the VP of LNT and she said all the right things that didn't help... (a put-off in my opinion). Decided that I was thru with LNT online. Decided, today to print the order so that I could prove to the parents of the Bride that I did not forget and this is what I got for the reason of my cancellation..."Cancelled on 10/25/06 due to missing or invalid order information!" Now LNT has made it look like the reason for the cancellation is due to something missing or invalid due to my input information!! NOT THE FACT THAT THEY COULD NOT PLACE THE ORDER OR OFFER A SOLUTION!! Also possibly because I promised to send the email between the VP and myself to everyone in my email address book. BE CAUTIOUS OF LNT ONLINE!! VERY SUBSTANDARD ON BACK ORDERED ITEMS.
