My experience with LuckyVitamin was not lucky. I just lost $20, and to recover the loss I have to pay additional $10.
I purchased 2 items as a gift to my friend. I indicated my friend's address as shipping address. There were few payment options, and I chose Paypal. I placed the order on 6/30/09, and until 7/8/09 I have not received any confirmation e-mail from LuckyVitamins. When I called to confirm shipment I was told that their database is huge and that is why sometimes e-mails are not sent right away. Also I was told that when orders are paid with Paypal they use address from Paypal as shipment address. So, my order went to the address where I do not live anymore! I just moved and I do not have easy access to the old place. So, to redirect the order I have to pay additional $10. I was told that LuckyVitamin sends out confirmation e-mail and this is how customers make sure everthing is correct. Since I did not call them on time my order was sent to my Paypal address, but not to my friend. When I said that I did not receive any confirmation e-mail, they just apologized. That is it. "Oh, we apologize for that, but you will not be able to receive either money back or the things you bought". My question is WHY would the store ask for shipping address if they use Paypal by default, and WHY does the store not place a note about it somewhere next to the shipping address line???
