Purchasing a mattress online was certainly for me a new process and I was somewhat hesitant to do so. Having dealt with a "bad back" for many year and waking up stiff every morning, and missing several days of work in Jan, Feb, and March of 2004, I knew I needed to make a change.
I was sure I did not want to buy another conventional mattress and a flotation was not what I wanted either.
Having done some research on "the Web", I was very happy to find Nationwidemattress and the option of the Comfortaire line of mattresses. I sent an e-mail to Nationwidemattress with a slew of questions. Within a four hour period I received a response from Richard D. with all my questions answered. Having received satisfactory answers in combination with the 90 day return policy, I placed my order for a Queen GeoVista.
For the next two-three days I conjured up some "new" questions that I had not asked prior to placing my order.
I decide at this point to call Nationwidemattress and try to speak directly with Richard D. such that if I decided to make a change to the order, we could expedite the change prior to the order having been completed and shipped from the factory.
I will say that dealing with Richard D. was an experience that put me at ease. I had just placed a close to $1,000 order for an unseen product. Richard was totally professional and was understanding of my trepidation and anxiety of this long distance purchase. He never showed any impatience with me and was able to answer my latest questions and effected a change to the order before it had been fully processed and left the factory. I am grateful for the help and professionalism and patience that I experienced dealing with Richard D.
I have been sleeping on the GeoVista for about 10 weeks and have experienced a dramatically positive improvement in the status of my lower back. I have gone from daily back pain to almost no back pain. I have done much yard work including shoveling and spreading loam for some lawn repair and stacked 4-5 tons of green hardwood into my woodshed. This my back survived without problem. In large part this was from waking up with a "rested" back. I think my old firm conventional mattress was actually causing my back harm every night. Praises for the Comfortaire GeoVista.
