Business transaction was smooth; item was shipped in a timely manner, no hitches in getting it to its destination.

Everything was as represented EXCEPT I WAS SOLD USED EQUIPMENT INSTEAD OF THE NEW HP COLOR LASERJET indicated on the website.

I purchased what was listed as a brand new color LaserJet, no information indicated it was used equipment or an opened floor sample. All of the website information indicated it was brand spanking new.

The first indication of its use came when the packaging was removed: there was a black scuffmark at the base of the printer;  I discounted this as nothing significant. The printer did contain brand new, unopened ink cartridges.

HOWEVER, in the process of setting up the printer, it was necessary to do a configuration printout; that printout indicated that this PRINTER HAD ALREADY BEEN USED to print 387 color copies.

I purchased a new printer but was given, at the very least, a floor sample. Anyone with experience with office equipment knows that the life expectancy of printers is finite—every page printed is one day closer to its demise.

I am pleased with my equipment only displeased with the unscrupulous business practices of this merchant; I would purchase the same equipment again, BUT FROM A DIFFERENT VENDOR.
