Terrible customer service.  Spoke with Dale the manager regarding reimbursement of return shipping and was deeply dissatisfied.  Prior to purchasing the scale, I asked if it measured carats and the answer was yes.  The scale only measures in .05 increments, but that wasn't expressed.  So, if your stone is .75, you will only get a reading for either .05 or 1.0.  Because the scale has a "carats" setting, they think this is an acceptable weight measurement.  So, the company will not refund my return shipping because they say it is working, even though it does not measure carats accordingly.  Do not waste your time or money.  Dale argued with me and there wasn't any level of sympathy or customer service.

One of the very few companies that you can actually get a live individual, not a recording or someone with an accent too pronounced to understand, to answer the phone. When you do talk to their representative, the representative is intelligent, understanding, and aware of the company's policies. Excellent company to do business with in every respect. The item description was exactly correct. The shipment arrived in good condition and on time. The scale is all I desired of a shipping scale and I use it exclusively for shipping my packages. An added use I hadn't planned on when I purchased this scale was that I can use it in my kitchen for measuring the weight of baking ingredients that use weight instead of standard measurements! I'm more than satisified!!!

I did a fairly extensive search for kitchen scales that have features similar to the VOX 3000 model I ended up buying from OldWillKnottScales.com. I was surprised when I found the exact same model in a daily living aids catalog for people with visual impairment I often use. OldWillKnottScales.com listed a lower purchase and P&H price as well as the option to have the scales shipped via US mail. I actually received them a bit sooner than expected - yet another nice surprise. As long as these folks are still around, I'll definitely buy replacement scales from OldWillKnottScaels.com when the scales I have now wear out. Thank you for a super product.
