I have not been in contact with this copany because I ordered on-line. I received an e-mail that my stools would be shipped around June 5. Since I ordered them in mid May, I find this very unacceptable since the site said they were in stock. There was no way to respond to the e-mail. Hopefully, if they ever do arrive, i will be happy with them.

I ordered a bombe chest and it was on backorder. Knowing that it was on backorder, they still went ahead and charged my card. I then changed the order to a bombe chest that was in stock. For 3 days they had me going back and forth to tell me when it would ship. THEY NEVER GAVE ME AN ANSWER! I then proceeded to cancel that and as I write this email they are still giving me a very hard time about the cancellation and the crediting of my AMEX! I am writing this to you in the hope that you can do something. I have also opened up a disputed charge investigation with American Express. By the way, I bought the SAME PIECE OF FURNITURE FROM furniturebuzz.com for 150 dolars LESS and it has already shipped. I bought it YESTERDAY!!

One Way Furniture was fine, this survey, however, is terrible. The answers either don't fit the question -- the answers to "How quickly did you receive your order?" are especially off-topic in that they don't relate to speed of delivery -- and almost assumes that there was some kind of delay or error. Too many of the other questions don't at all relate to the order process I experienced with One Way Furniture. These "one size fits all" online surveys are all too often useless. I frankly don't even know why businesses bother with them.

I ordered a makeup vanity and jewelry armoire on 4/17 and received it 1 week later. I was amazed at how well it was packed to keep it in perfect condition when it arrived. I had to assemble it and that was fairly simple considering the number of parts. You did need to read all of the directions before starting but overall it was not very difficult. After assembly and placing in my bedroom I could not believe the beauty of it. It matched the oak bedroom set I had just purchased on 4/17 which was surprising. The wood grain is beautiful and it is a solid piece of furniture. I am overjoyed and pleased that I finally found One Way's website.
I will order again from One Way because what you see in the pictures is what you receive and it is very good quality. If you are in doubt - don't be.....go for it because it is well worth it and you will be as thrilled as I am. THANK YOU!!!! |

I received my order from One Way Furniture Iwhich was back ordered and took six weeks) and did not like the coffee table and end table. I contacted the company to return it and was told I had to pay round trip shipping (thereby eliminating the free shipping) and a 15% restocking fee (100% satisfaction guaranteed, but it's going to cost you). I will never order anything from this company again. I wish I had read the reviews on this site before doing business with One Way Furniture.

TERRIBLE! They initially impress you by telling you your order is being shipped and give you the impression that you will be receiving your order in a few days. When it doesn't arrive, you then are faced with dealing with an automated system which asks you to leave a voice mail or to write your complaint online.
Either way, good luck getting an answer. At this point they have your money and you are at their mercy. I do over $100,000 a year in online ordering and usually receive my orders right away. THIS IS THE WORST AND MOST DECEPTIVE COMPANY I HAVE DEALT WITH. They also advertise that they have the lowest prices --- NOT TRUE. Their prices are no better than anyone else's........ |

I was interested in buy a vanity table and I was happy to find a large selection of them on onewayfurniture.com. They had a "sale" going on until Feb. 14. The items seemed to be heavily discounted. I decided to shop around. What I found is that they have completely invented their list prices. The so called sale prices are exactly the same as the regular prices on other websites! Example the Powell Toscana Vanity is listed at $1289.00 and on sale for $825.00 on Justvanities.com it is $825.00 for the regular price!on Amazon.com it is listed at $825.00 and on sale for $799.00. This is not the only item, I checked quite a few and all of the "list" prices were bogus. There is no sale! They inflate prices and sell them at a regular price pretending it is a sale. BUYER BEWARE. Shop around.

These folks are horrilble! Do not ever buy anything from them. Had a problem with my order and it took 3 months to be resolved. 3 months! No one hardly ever answers the phone or returns phone calls unless you are buying something new. Makes you wonder why. Was repeatedly given excuses and no action. They are not worth the trouble, at any price.

This is one of those companies that once you place an order you end up regretting it and feeling like you have been had. Because of them I will not have the Christmas gift that my little girl asked for. They led me on saying that they were going to ship something, even billed my card, but never had the item in stock. Two weeks after I ordered, the out of stock item was still offered for sale on their website. This is a SHADY company, STAY AWAY.

My wife and I purchased a table from Onewayfurniture.com and it turned out to be the worse online purchasing experience we've ever had.
First- they gave us an estimated ship date of 12/5 when we made the order on 11/19. A little over 2 weeks, but it was free shipping, so we did not complain. 3 times, one of us stayed home waiting for our package because 3 times they gave us a delivery date and then changed it without notification until AFTER it was supposed to be here. Finally, on 12/15, UPS claimed it was delivered. Yet today, we still do not have the table. We found out that they shipped it to the WRONG ADDRESS!! To make matters worse, it is impossible to get their customer service on the phone. We've tried calling 6 times and have left 3 messages and no one has gotten back to us. I recommend to NOT buy from this website. |

Worst experience I have ever had. The order I placed was for an entertainment center, on arrival the only thing that came was a glass shelf, nothing else. UPS Freight was the delivery agent and said the problem had to be taken up with who I purchased it from. Contacted customer service, "Tony" from customer service said she would "look into" it. Three days later she indicated that the problem was sent to her "supervisor". I have never heard from them again, I call and leave voice messages asking for a return call, which they seem to ignore. I have called at least five times asking for an update, and they never return the calls. They are real fast in taking your money, but that's all.

I came from Shopping.com and had researched the product quite a bit so I already knew what I was buying, but the One Way Furniture site was one of the places I used for research. The site was easy to use and the price was great. It was about $100 less than other sites and it was delivered quickly. There was a slight mishap with my payment but I think it was my fault. I called them and they helped me resolve the problem quickly. Overall I am very satisfied and would shop here again. I had never bought a large piece of furniture online before so I was afraid something horrible would happen but everything went very smoothly, so I would recommend this site to first time buyers of furniture on the internet. Thank you!

What a fabulous company. My coffee table came quickly and in great shape. It's exactly what we wanted. Our dining room set is gorgeous, and came in great shape. The quality is excellent and it looks amazing.No scratches or anything! What a great shopping experience. Customer service was extremely helpful with all questions upon ordering the items. They answered all my detailed questions and returned my phone call promplty. The woman that handles my questions was so friendly and warm unlike other internet sites. She gave accurate color descriptions, and detailed product descriptions. Everything came on time as they said it would. Everyone should use this company if they are redecorating or moving into a new home. There was so much to choose from. Bar stools, coffee tables, kitchen sets, dining room sets, living room sets, beautiful couches, office furniture, kids rooms. i could furnish my entire house and office with this site alone. My family and I can't wait to shop for Christmas gifts on the site. All the children's items are going to be such a great addition under the tree. Thank you one way furniture! You have really been a big help!

Ordered a bedroom suite the beginning of June with delivery estimate early July, late July (28th) still had not shipped! Customer Service was helpless with answers. Found the same suite plus an additional item for almost $150 less on a different site and they would not honor the price guarantee....said it had to be just a furniture store. Mind you this was brandsplace.com not an auction site or wholesale site. I finally received an email stating my order was cancelled and please dont contact them again. MY PLEASURE.... I would not recommend this site nor receive anything from them even if it was free.
Oh yeah and the free shipping they advertise is really $9.99 not FREE! But they will charge you the regular shipping fee of $149 if you decide you want to send the damaged goods back. |
