OpticsPlanet.net is great!! I recieved confirmation promptly and they allowed me to check the status of when my products would be shipped, so I knew not to go crazy waiting for my goodies, lol.  Once they shipped the items, I recieved a UPS confirmation number and it came right on time.  The box also had a bright sticker noting "Delicate Materials" and was packed well! Items are AMAZING, very satisfied!! Definitely will shop here again, A++ !!

I ordered two pairs of pants from the online store.  Payment was taken from my account the next day and the items were marked as "shipped".  Twelve days later after asking several times for a tracking number and after only receiving automated messages claiming that "the items have shipped directly from the manufacturer", I received an e-mail stating that the items were discontinued. No mention of how I would be refunded.  No apology.  There are still 25 current listings on ebay for these pants from optics planet.  Unbelievably disorganized inventory and atrocious customer service.  I will never order anything from here again.  And after reading the reviews, it appears I am far from being the only person this has happened to.

My experience with Optics Planet Online is everything that I had hoped it to be.  i immediately got an email confirming my order, and once my order was shipped I was notified with another email and tracking information.  I will definately use Optics Planet again for my shopping needs

These people are hopelessly lost!  after spending 20 minutes in que to talk to a live person when my turn was next I received a message stating they were experiencing heavy traffic and to leave a message.  So I used the live chat, which is a good idea, and explained my situation and what I wanted to order.  She told me if I ordered the item from her I would be guaranteed the item the next day, which is what I requested.  Later that night when my order was visible for viewing, it said it was backordered!  Huh?  Yeah, thanks for letting me know so I could order it somewhere else.

First of all, their prices are very competitive. Not many other websites can offer such low prices and the huge selection for the items I was searching. The delivery speed was OK, considering the shipping was free. If you don't need the item immediately, then the free delivery option is great. I have ordered from Optics Planet several times and every time, they have accurately sent my orders without mistakes. 1.  Poor quality of item, made in China

2.  No eye relief, one of the lens had hundreds of clear bubbles in it.

3.  The main box had been opened and the scope looked used.

Great price, and quick delivery. A bit different but just as much fun as my Celestron SkyScout. If you're new to Astronomy, this will be your best investment you could make. It will really help you learn the night sky. Fast and easy to use. Everyone, even experienced astronamers love playing with this tool. If you don't have a MySky or SkyScout, GET ONE.

I recently purchased a Trijicon TA31RCO-M4 ACOG thru your on-line store. I had been serching every where for this scope and no one could produce one. I contacted your store and had no trouble at all in ordering and the scope was here in less than one week. Good job!!!

I have since told many of my shooting friends about your selection and service. I have seen your rifle scope selection and am truly impressed. I live in a remote area of Colorado and finding what I need is next to impossible. Not any more.

In addition I'd like to rate the quality of this scope. Five stars! It is exactly what I had expected and more. The construction is bomb proof and knowing it is lit continuously is a great peace of mind. It is also water proof. I have read about the New Orleans disaster and the police department had Trijicons, they didn't need to worry about batteries and they are water proof.

Great products, but the website defaults are confusing in that there may be a color description for a product(OD for example) but when you click to go to that product, the default might be for another color or pattern sku such as ACUPAT.  If you click to continue the transaction, the original description remains but the sku could be quite different and not match the description.  This can lead to errors in ordering because the order confirmation doesn't give the person the opportunity to reconcile the error (description matching sku) and correct them.  Customer service was helpful in rectifying the error and accepting returns, but the website designer should be more in touch with the intuitive purchase skills of Optics Planets online customers.

Extrememly disappointed, they send you the wrong items then ignore you when you ask them to make things right. After they finally acknowldge you they say it will take several weeks to get a refund or the correct item.

Bad experience so far. It takes a week to get the order number email. Another 3 days to get the email saying they are out of stock. Customer service asked for my phone number twice to get a tracking number and i never heard from them. I should have just orderd directly from 5.11. Im sure they know when they are out of stock. I dont know why i have to write 200 words to be able to write a review. Its just another tactic to discourage people when writing a review. If i am writing a review i should be able to express myself. Is that not what a review is?

The Galco H819L PRO 252 holster for a Sig P232 arrived today. The holster looks great and fits the Sig nicely leaving plenty of room to grasp the pistol securely before sliding it out of the holster. The trigger guard is covered except for the very bottom to insure there is no way something cannot accidentally snag the trigger. Because it is so new, the gun fits very snugly in the holster and it tries to come out of the pocket during the draw. I believe it will slip off with a little breaking in but the design also allow one to use a safety pin to secure it in the pocket over the lower catch under the trigger guard. Looking at other Galco products from other dealers, for this series, you cannot beat the price or the quality. A definite BUY.   B4d

I have bought a cannon SD790 digital camera from this website. It was on sale for $119.00 and I have checked out and received confirmation email of purchased after that. In the evening I got email from optics planet that there was some error in the price and actual price is $229.00. we are canceling your order. They should better watch their deals before making fools to the customer. I have removed this website from my fav. list.

I ordered the Wiley X SG-1 (Frame Only) Gloss Black Goggles Frame, SG-1F.  No ship notification was provided via email, but it only took a week before they were delivered to my door.  I was surprised when I opened the package.  I'm pretty sure what was in the box was the Wiley X SG-1 Matte Black Goggles Frame, SG-1MF.  Upon inspection, I found I liked the finish much, much better than the gloss finish of my original frame.  And since the order included the matching temples and a goggle strap, I decided to keep them.  So all's well that ends well, but I think they might want to check their orders before they ship, and provide some kind of automated shipping email.  Would still buy from them again, as they do carry the complete line of Wiley X products at an affordable price.
