Possibly, because the USB Hub was in good condition, but the converter was defective. This caused an inconvience because I had to rush out to purchase a different keyboard due to time constraints.

Most everything was fine. My one complaint is that it was processed through PC Connection which was unexpected for me. I use a Mac. Your company knew that I use a Mac since I asked about the product capability with my Mac. I would have liked the order to have gone through MacConnection. Anyway, I discarded the PC catalog and requested a Mac catalog. I notice that this questionnaire still comes from PC Connection. Being part of the Mac community since 1985 it's important to me to be recognized for the choice that makes a difference.

I need a scan bar code to receive the rebate on the memory card and it was partially removed when i received it. I have not been in contact with PC Connection yet to see what I can do to remedy the problem.

I've shopped at PC Connection before, and continue to be satisfied with them. I chose to return to this vendor rather than selecting the lowest-price source for the major item (just $10 cheaper, and I didn't check to see if that would be eaten up in shipping charges). Their site navigation is good -- I wish the computers that came in multiple colors had one return in the search, rather than one for each color, but that's really my only criticism. (This seems to be a common problem with hardware vendors, as if they just haven't adapted to the idea of color choice. Having each notebook listed two to five times makes the product list unwieldy.)

Ordered a 3pack of Stylus for the Pocket PC and received only 1 at a price of $21 including shipping. Called the PC Connection and they had to contact their vendor to find out that the vendor only shipped a single. If they have a 3 pack as a description they should have insured the vendor only shipped 3 packs. $9 for 3 and $11 for shipping is pricy. The same price for 1 is excessive. They use a less than economic shipping method ( USPS would be cheaper especially for the size of the item. ) Not real happy, but they did try to make amends. Offered to reorder from their vendor and said to keep the single.

Original item ordered was confirmed between myself and tech support staff to be mislabeled and packaged as a 512 MB chi but was actually only 256 MB. Because original supplier had discontinued distribution of all such items, and PC/MacConnection had no remaining stock from that supplier. In order to provide me with the correct size RAM chip, the tech staff helped by recommending a different brand that he had in supply. He said I should not ship the incorrect item back to them because they'd not be able to get any correction from the other supplier. He also said he would credit my account for the price of the incorrect item and charge me instead for the correct item, which cost a few dollars more; and he would ship that one to me UPS next day air at no charge to me. I did in fact receive the shipment on schedule. More importantly, my computer read the new chip as the full 512 MB RAM I had intended to order in the first place. So I am VERY pleased about how the Bob Merrill, the tech staff person, was willing to take exceptional steps in order to correct the error which was not really PC/MacConnection's fault, to ensure that I would receive a replacement equivalent item for what I had tried to order first.

Under #5. above, I do not know if it was the merchant's fault or the shipper's (UPS)fault, but I could not track the package at any time during the delivery period. The UPS guy said there was a problem with the bar code on the box, that a sticker was over the area where the bar code should be and that there really was no bar code to swipe. The important thing is that I got my packages in very good time, in very good shape, and was never given the run-around by the people at PC Connection.
