PC Universe is a first-rate merchant in my experience. So far I've bought two products, spaced more than two years apart: an NVidia-based graphics card that was cutting-edge in 2005 (now obsolete of course...) and a Lite-On DH-20A4P DVD reader / writer / burner, cutting-edge today. In both cases I started off with an open-minded and exhaustive Internet search for two specific needs--not products--and in both cases I ended up at PC Universe. Their site's search capability and their products' down to earth and understandable descriptions in plain English led me to the perfect choice twice. They are also aggressive in listing the very latest merchandise, creating an inventory that is deep, wide, and useful. Case in point: the Lite-On DVD writer I finally picked had only been on the market a month or so, and already they had both the OEM and the consumer version (with added software an instructions) available. My two purchases both arrived well within the promised time, wrapped safely, and with invoices correct. All the while PC Universe's liberal use of e-mail to chart my orders' progress kept buyers' anxiety at bay. PC Universe's assortment is immense and, once more and all-important, their descriptions are precise and accurate. This is a superb, highly conscientious outfit where I'll continue shopping in the future.
