Easy to place an order, selection of items was varied and excellent. Ordered a pair of "double trouble" toddler t-shirts for my twins, personalized with their names and the items looked great. Also ordered a pair of tote bags and the personalized embroidery of their names was really cute, very professionally done, and these orders arrived quickly.

My shopping experience with Personal Creations was good. It was the only vendor who had that particular pet urn, and it was at a reasonable price. I received the item yesterday, and it looked exactly like what is pictured on the web site (plus personalized section).

I have been very pleased with everything I have purchased except one item (the trivia print-it seemed a little "cheap", something I could have thrown together on my own without being nearly as expensive). I do like the fact that Personal Creations offers items that you don't see in every other catalog...very original and usually well priced.

I paid extra for two day delivery because my sister was going out of town for her birthday. I wanted to get it to her before she left. It got there two days later than it was supposed to and so she didn't have it for a week. Just disappointed that I paid extra for the shipping and it didn't get there.

I didn't realize that the stand and figurine were separate and don't feel that was made clear. The engraving was also fuzzy. I felt it was poor quality. I may just give her the figurine. I also didn't realize there was a fee for engraving until I saw the final bill.

I ordered a personalized necklace for my mother for Valentine's Day. Personal Creations sent her someone else's order: a puzzle in a drawstring bag. I did not learn this until the Saturday before Valentine's Day.
Because the store does not have customer service hours on the weekends I had to wait to contact them until February 13, the day before Valentine's Day. The customer service representative was courteous and apologetic. I chose to have Personal Creations make a replacement necklace for my mother because at this point her gift was going to be late no matter what. I was told I would be refunded a portion of the cost of the necklace and that my mother would receive the necklace by February 20. Not only did the replacement necklace not arrive until February 24, but Personal Creations also sent it to ME instead of my mother. I will never shop at Personal Creations again. |

I have never experienced such AWFUL customer service. I placed an order in Dec. 10, 2005 as a Christmas Gift. The item was guaranteed to arrive by Dec. 25, 2005. I have called 20+ times to check the status of this order and have only encountered rude, unhelpful, disrespectful, customer service reps. It took 6 requests to have a supervisor call me and when she did she was worse than the front line employees. It is January 19, 2006 and I have yet to receive me order. When I called today to cancel, they said that wasn't possible. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the BBB online. I caution anyone from ordering from this company.
For anyone trying to reach a supervisor call (630) 783-2400. If you don't know the name of a supervisor dial ext. 3338. It took me 6 weeks to get this number to their executive office. Good Luck. |

I ordered a sister ring for my little sister for Christmas. It did not arrive until after Christmas, disappointing but ok. When I receieved the gift it was not as shown online. You can hardly see the birthstones in the ring. I was very disappointed and a little upset. I will be buying her another one for her birthday. NOT FROM Personal Creations.

I ordered an expensive lamp from this company on November 11th as my husband's Christmas gift. Well, it is January 1, 2006 and I am still waiting. I have called them on Dec. 14, 20, 27, 29. They could care less. They also charged the full amount to my credit card in November. I have emailed and called directly and no one ever replies when they say they will. NEVER, EVER buy from this company. Like another reviewer, I plan to hit the BBB next with my complaint, as well as the Illinois Attorney General's Office as I am pretty sure billing someone for an item they have never seen is illegal. I am also leaving a review on every single website I can find. Consumers need to work together to put these guys out of business.

DO NOT do business with this company. I had the same experience that one of the previous reviewers had. I ordered in plenty of time (12/9) and was promised delivery by Christmas. After my email was ignored, I waited 35 minutes on the customer service phone line to be told it would still arrive in time. Unlike the other reviewer, my order did NOT arrive by Christmas. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. The wait times are unreal - 1st call was a 35 minute wait, next one was 40 minutes and the 3rd was 20 minutes. Also, the quality of the items I received was very poor. I ordered 3 scarves and 2 of them had defective monogramming (machine monogramming, not by hand). Sorry to be so negative, but I was very unhappy with this company.

I received my personalized picture pillow today (Dec. 15) after placing the order on Oct. 30. I have spent over 4 hours on the phone with customer service agents. Most of the time I called I received the message saying it was the busiest time of the day and to call during "non-peak hours of 7 pm to 12 midnight." Even during those hours I would receive the message. I finally dealt with a customer service supervisor, Margie, and in the three times I had to call back since my initial conversation with her I would just ask for her, but even that was a hassle. After waiting 1 1/2 months for my item, I received a $15 gift certificate (like I want to go back to their company) and 30% off my order because I basically demanded it. I would stay away from this company.
Order from Personal Creations if you have tons of time to waste, like unintelligent customer service reps and don't need an item in less than 1 1/2 months. Very frustrated and disappointed with this company. |

I have had a awful experience with Personal Creations. I ordered 3 items equaling $60.00, on 09/29/05 it is now 10/12/05 and the products have yet to leave the warehouse. The product description and shipping policy states the items will take 3-5 to ship, but when I asked why I have not rec'd the item yet or why the items have yet to be mailed yet they said that I did not pay the extra $4.00 to have the item "expedited". It has been now been two weeks since I placed the order and Three calls and two emails later and they can not confirm when the items will ship! The customer service team is rude and untrained. There shipping policy is VERY misleading, to say the least!
I have low expectations for the products! If, I ever receive them! |

I had a terrible experience with this company. My delivery was late even though I paid for expedited shipping. After contacting them and speaking with a supervisor delivery still did not happen as promised. This has got to be the worst customer service ever. The supervisor's supervisor refused to get on the phone with me to try and resolve this. I would discourage everybody from using this company. If you are viewing this as a customer looking to business with them DONT!!!! Tell everyone you know so they wont have the same terrible experience. I feel stupid for not reading reviews before I ordered. I now know that they were rated very poorly in the past. Hopefully so many people will hear all of the bad stories and stop using this company at all. They shouldn't be in business. They don't care at all about customer satisfaction.

Well here is the story.... I placed an order 3 weeks before Christmas 2004 for several Christmas gifts and a Christmas stocking for my son. When I did not receive the items for Christmas I wrote to them several times to tell them to cancel my order as I did not need the items.
I now receive an email that the items are on their way. A little to little too late..... Just want to let all you folks out there know that if you need an item for a deadline don't count on Personal Creations. No call, no response, no nothing.... BEWARE!!!! |

I ordered a personalized beer mug on November 28 to be given as a Christmas gift and have yet to see it (as of December 22). For what it's worth, I ordered 4 beautifully engraved beer glasses from the Glassfox.com site that arrived in one week for $65 with shipping and INCLUDED a gift box for free, yet one mug on this site is $35 with shipping and gift box charges. Personal Creations' customer service is non-existent. I've tried numerous times to contact them and all I get after a few minutes on hold is a message stating that wait times are 45 minutes and to call at a later time. All I can do is dispute the charge on my credit card since they do not answer phones. NEVER NEVER shop here - it is a miserable experience!!!!!

This was a horrible experience. I ordered long before their christmas deadline, only to find out by email that they hadn't even started processing the order because they were had questions about it. So I waited on hold for over 30 minutes to clear up a question that could have been asked via email about fringe color (the typing in all caps that they do is annoying too.) Weeks later I log in to check on my still undelivered order to find that they have "call customer service" on the form. No email this time even. I call, and they ask me the exact same question as the first time. But wait, it gets better. Come to find out they sent the picture off without scanning it for the first part of the order, so I will not be getting that part of the order in time for Christmas at all. Cancel that now and go out to do last minute shopping. Great. I am usually able to shop internet sites and companies with relatively little fuss or problems, but this has been a sour and expensive experience. Save yourself the time, frustration, and money, and go elsewhere.

Our overall experience with personalcreations.com was an excellent one. The site is very easy to use, the check out is fast and simple, shipping was extremely fast and product quality is unmatched.
We needed to find personalized Christmas stockings in a hurry for a special project at work. After learning that the local stores needed 7 to 10 working days to deliver, I searched online and found Personal Creations. One click and we found the product we wanted. Made the purchase and the product was shipped in 3 days. From start to finish it only took 3 days - thats amazing - especially during the holiday season. |

Never in my life have I been so frustrated and disappointed in a store that I would spend time complaining about them online to others (until now). I have ordered several things from Personalcreations.com in the last couple of months and have received HORRIBLE customer service. I was billed for a bulletin board that never showed up, called and was told it was on its way (4 weeks ago), and have still yet to receive anything. To top it all off, customer service is not returning my e-mails.
In addition, I was supposed to receive 8% credit towards my UPromise account ($40 worth of credit!). Over two months later, I still have not received any credit, and, of course, Personalcreations is unable to help with this problem as well. About the same time I ordered from PC, I placed an order with LillianVernon online. The product arrived in less than a week, looked spectacular, and I experienced wonderful customer service. I received my Upromise credit within a week. I recommend shopping there instead. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with PersonalCreations. |
