The experience of placing the order on the web worked very well. I would have liked a more detailed description of the product. The product I ordered was a filing cabinet. A description detailing the strength, of the cabinet, or recommended usage, i.e., home office, industrial, etc. would have been more helpful. I liked the no shipping costs, but the delivery was slow. After 2 weeks, with no delivery, or notice from Planet Office. I called to follow-up on the order. I was notified that the order had been shipped, but that the order has been lost, and after failure to locate the order, they were sending out a replacement order. It would have been nice if I had received some kind of notice via phone, email, etc. notifying me of the delay, before I had to call about the delay. Planet Office did not take the initiative to notify me themselves. Problems happen and are understood, but I feel it is better for the company to notify me, instead of me tracking down the problem.
A matter-of -fact, throughout the delivery process, I did not receive any updates on the status of the delivery. When I called they informed me the shipment had been resent. The delivery person did call me to coordinate the time and day of the delivery of the product, which was appreciated, but when I opened the package, I found that one of the drawer handles was broken. Since, I did not want to wait for another long delivery process; I fixed the damage product myself.
