Since Just having had a baby, I have to say that there is quite a lot of shopping for the nursery and getting prepared to do. I spent many days, hours, and car trips looking for the perfect things that my daughter may or may not enjoy when she joins our family.
My sister finally said go to Pottery Barn Kids Online, save the car trip, they have a better selection online, they have wonderful merchandise and the staff is very knowledgeable and can help you out.
I went to the web site, very user friendly and everything is just a click away and there is more of a selection of merchandise than what you would find at your local store. The pictures are clear, prices marked, even if they are on sale, and the descriptions are wonderful. Sometimes the stores clear out the old merchandise to make way for the new and you might not be able to find a particular item, but online they keep it until it sells out so you will be able to have that extra chance of purchasing it.
Now the hard part, picking out all the different choices or wonderfully themed merchandise.
I spent quite some time picking out all the bathroom accessories, they have it all there. Love the ABC Collection that they had, geared right for children to love and grow with. They even had all the bathroom accessories that I could pick from that would go perfect with the towel, bath mat and shower curtain I picked out. Even if you don't have a towel holder, we didn't, they have many styles and selections that you could choose from. You don't have to worry about your local store not carrying the product and trying to find it at another store.
The customer service is absolutely wonderful!! We had to order a ceramic waist paper basket and a couple of other items we didn't purchase the first time and when they arrived the waist paper basket was broken in two places. I call Pottery Barn Kids, our local store thinking I would save on having to pack the broken one and sending it back, explained that it was broken and everything else was packed fine. They looked around they store, did not have the waist paper basket but found one at another store and said they would ship it to me no additional charge and don't worry about bringing in the broken one, they would just do the exchange. That is wonderful customer service to me. It saved me from having to drag broken merchandise across town for an exchange and better than that the new one arrived 3 days later!!
Product quality
Having children requires lots of clothes washing and I can say that all the bathroom towels, floor mats and shower curtains hold up very well in repeat washings. We had purchased the ABC collection and all the letters and animals were sewn onto the towels or shower curtain and I have no complaints of the stitching coming undone or the color of the fabric discoloring.
