I am currently waiting on delivery that has been delayed and am becoming increasingly annoyed with PB.
I placed furniture order on Nov. 8 and was told I should be receiving a call from the shippers on Dec. 7 to arrange a delivery time. Didn't get a call, so I called customer service. They were very friendly and helpful, but I was told that while 1 piece had made it to my city, the other was 2 days late to the consolidation point and was not in yet, so new est. date for delivery call was Dec. 12. I finally got a call from delivery svs. on Dec. 14, saying that first available drop off time is Dec. 22. This is nuts. The furniture is here, and it turns out, arrived in my city on Dec. 10. Why are they holding it for an extra 12 days?
Attention Pottery Barn: Evidently your local delivery contractors are either understaffed, too busy, or not well enough organized to distribute your products efficiently. I suggest you seek alternatives.
I am just hoping that the actual delivery gets completed without a hitch (hoping, but not expecting) and that the pieces are in perfect condition. Very disappointing for the highly-marked up prices.
