What can I say about www.Pronetcd.com? How about that they are an abomination! They have an easy to use web site, a nice array of software, and some very good prices. I ordered XP Pro w/SP2 for which they immediately charged me $110.29, $103 for the CD, and another $7.29 to ship a CD. I never received a confirmation e-mail nor a notice that it had been shipped. I never received the CD.

I sent them an e-mail requesting information on when it would ship, but got no answer. I sent them another e-mail a few days later stating that if I did not hear from them or receive the item the following week that I would dispute the charge and have it charged back. Again, no response from them. When the appointed day came and I had not received the item or a response I started the dispute with my card issuer.

A few days after I started the credit card dispute Pronetcd credited my account for $87.55, apparently thinking they were entitled to STEAL $22.74 from me for just taking an order which they never fulfilled. I sent them an e-mail accusing them of theft, and demanded a credit of $22.74 for a total of $110.29. To date they have not responded.

You do not want to use this online store because although there are some happy customers, about every 10th one has a complaint. Better to pay a little more for what you want and get it than to have to go through aggravation. For them to keep $22.74 is a form of theft since they did nothing to earn it. No restocking or shipping fees if they never sent it. Avoid this seller like the plague.
