Horrible customer service, no response in 1 week!

I bought a hot water dispenser and when it arrive, it was defective! This wasn't the worst part. On the website, they said to email them for return directions and so I wrote them. 4 days go by, and no response. It has now been one week; I still haven't heard from the company, so I am writing them another email. They don't give a hoot if your product doesn't work! Do NOT USE THESE GUYS. If they do not respond to me, I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau. I hate wasting time with unresponsive retails.

If you're going to give your customers a number to call, have someone available to answer it. Sending you an email, and waiting for you to respond, may be convenient for you, but it may not be for us. I was off work that day, so it didn't present a real problem. Had I been working, resolving my issues using this cumbersome, inefficient process might have cost me several days of my valuable time to conclude, and that would have made me angry. You can do better!!!

I purchased a brand called Sunpentown ice maker from quality matters and it was defective. It started leaking after 3 cycles. Customer service at the retailer was decent enough but at the manufacturer it was downright unhelpful, incomprehensible and aggravating. Too bad, but that's the product you are selling so I have to give two thumbs way down.

Researched a ZILLION Portable AC Units and got so confused. I ended up calling Quality Matters and they answer all of my questions. I ended up buying my unit from them and had my item sooner than expected, was able to track where it was right away and the item is great. Thanks for a great on-line shopping experience. I would definately buy from them again!! Price, shipping speed, customer service ALL ARE A++++! Signed...a satisfied customer.

I was very pleased with Quality Matters. Their product was just what I expected and was very pleased. However, I did send the backpack back, No fault of theirs. I had ordered it for my son for his expected first child, not knowing someone else had already given him one. Not want wanting to creat a situtation I returned the backkpack. Quality Maters was very helpful and agreeable with this.

I ordered two of the same item. Just one was shipped. The other showed as trip for tracking purposes but was not. I had to make a couple of calls to the shipping company and email the merchant to fix the problem. The first of the two arived quickly and information on the website was good.

I really liked Quality Matters prices, and easy ordering etc. Had no problems what so ever. Package came by freight instead of ground wich surprised me because it was under 80 lbs, but besides it being a week late or so, everything went smoothly and I would definately shop there again.

You guys are great, but I've had a few issues with the unit. The specs that the manufacturer provided are incorrect. Instead of the 12amps advertised, the unit actually requires 19amps when cooling. This means that it is going to need a dedicated circuit in most residential homes as fuses are typically 20amps. This is very upsetting as I chose this one over a mini-split b/c I didn't want extra work done. It's also not properly cooling my space even when it's running and not tripping the breaker. My space is a recording studio room that's very well insulated with no window and only a single door. I have triple sheetrock on all walls with double on the ceiling. Insulation in all walls, ceiling and attic space. The room dimensions are 16x20....less than the 400ft2 that this unit is supposed to cool easily. I can't get the unit to make the room any cooler than 82 or so. Even without the ac on, the room only gets up to the mid 80s. And this is in Texas where we've been over 100 every day. So, to pay this much and have to do additional work and not have it cool all that much....well, sort of a waste. I've tried numerous times to reach the manufacturer via phone and email. The phone is busy all the time and the emails have never been answered by a service rep. I get auto-responders, but no real help.
Again, you guys have been great, but the manufacturer is the problem. Since you're selling their items, I thought you'd want to know.

I had a question about the Amcor portable room air conditioner that was not addressed on the web site, so I telephoned. I had to leave a message on the answering machine, but they returned my call within 5 minutes and were very helpful. They also told me that the item would be sent directly from the manufacturer. It arrived within two days - far sooner than I expected. But it was not the model I ordered. They upgraded me WITHOUT CHARGE to a more powerful unit because the company ran out of the model I ordered. EVERYTHING about this purchase turned out to be better than expected, the service from Quality Matters, the fast delivery, and the bonus upgrade.

I purchased the Soleus 25 dehumidifier. It is VERY quiet as reviews had indicated. Works great. I tried a Whirlpool locally first and it was sooo noisy it was ridiculous.
Price was great and shipment was speedy.

... and I have done plenty of on-line shopping. I've never written one of these other than for an Ebay comment. These guys were so nice and helpful that I actually wanted to let people know.
I found that Quality Matters had the best deal on an Sunpentown (SPT) portable AC, so when I had a question about my order, I called and got someone on the phone who was polite and helpful. After I got my AC and decided that I wanted some spare parts to hook up in another room, I called and asked if they had some other parts that I didn't see on the site and if they might be able to combine shipping. They added the parts that I wanted and saved me some extra money as well. These days I'm surprised when a company answers the phone somewhat soon or even speaks English well enough, but they're actually very nice, dedicated people. A rare level of customer service. I'm extremely satisfied and would strongly recommend them. |
