Good company and site, the damage for shipping was dealt with by the OEM MFG Leslie Dame, they sent the damage part out no questions and had my shipping info on file . All round good sales and customer support by all. I will purchase more from the retailer and associated web sites. The quality was even better than I anticipated.

The first time I ordered this product (last year) it took nearly 6 -7 weeks before I got it.This time I ordered another one(CD Stand)and it was 2 weeks before I got it. So I guess the shipping problem from CA. is getting better but could be improved..Luckily for them the product itself is functional, attractive and well made or it wouldn't be worth the wait . CPM

When I needed a TV stand, I went back to Racks and Stands because I had previously bought a stereo stand from them and was impressed by their selection, good price and delivering the stand quickly and in perfect shape. Racks and Stands (also known as CSN Stores) orders from Homestyles-furniture who then orders the furniture from China. This is very time consuming when you are waiting for replacement parts. The original order was received with 3 damaged parts. The replacement which took 10 days came with 1 damaged part and 1 wrong part. I am now waiting for the 2 parts that I need in order to complete this stand. Also there are minor scratches on the finish and one of the bun feet had no part to screw it in. So NO I would never order from them again or from any company where I have to assemble the furniture. I learned my lesson and from now on I order only from WELL KNOWN COMPANIES AND ONLY FULLY ASSEMBLED FURNITURE.

The table arrived with several very noticible nicks and scratches. I was prepared for this possibility since I read so many reviews before ordering. It's hard to say if better packaging would make any difference since the damage obviously is happening during the shipping stage and the boxes are very heavy. The table is beautiful and the customer service is very good.

I order many things online, and this was the first time that an order of this size came in a sturdy box, with the corners protected with cardboard and the entire thing shrunk wrapped. The tv stand exceeded my expectations and was better than the description, so I am very pleased and would order from this site again.

The web site was a bit difficult to navigate through. The shipping time was actually ahead of the projected time which was a pleasent surprise with the holidays. Your survey also needs updating. I did not need to mail-in a form for completion. There needs to be a NA section.

Very poor. I ordered what I wanted a month ago and never received the products. Also, the customer support was poor. They never updated me on the status of my order unless I called them to find out what was going on. Today I cancelled my order after finding the same product on another site for $125.00 cheaper with free shipping, and in stock. I was very disappointed.

I ordered a TV stand from this company and it was delivered a week later by Fedex ground. However, it arrived damaged. I was reassured by email that they would replace any damaged parts so I accepted the shipment. However, after I signed for the shipment, they directed me to call the manufacturer directly. I was unable to reach the manufacturer due to indefinite hold. I did not receive any response to my subsequent emails.

Based on previous reviews on Racks and Stands, I decided to give them a try for two CD1500 oak veneer racks. Because I wanted more than one, I called the toll free number, and amazingly enough, I was given a discount because of the quantity. The person who took my order was very cordial and answered all my questions, and even though I selected the free ground shipping, I received my order in about a week. The rack came in two boxes with the larger having some minor damage on two corners but because the material was double boxed, there wasn't any real damage to the contents. Overall satisfaction is VERY high and I would order from them again. I do recommend reviewing the return policy though - even though shipping to you is free, if the item is damaged and must be returned, you must pay the return shipping unless you have paid for their "insurance". Still, I would buy again from them.

Regardless of recent Epinions' reviews of R&S, I had a great experience.

Price matched plus. Received order in less than five days. They sent email regarding shipping and another to follow-up to make sure I had received my VTI speaker stands.

Young man I spoke with on the phone was polite, professional and helpful. He even spent additional time trying to locate a "riser" to separate my AV receiver and cable box (to no avail).

Very pleased with price, shipping, communication and service. Highly recommended, without any reservation.

UPDATE: Happened to notice a powder coat finish problem with one pole. Called R&S and they emailed me a copy of order to VTI to replace while on the phone. Replacement arrived a few days later. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Repaid their service by ordering a pair of Wood Technology stands from R&S.

They had such a large variety of TV stands, many that I hadn't seen anywhere else. Plus, I paid no shipping charges, so I was able to afford a more expensive TV Stand than I would have been able to afford at Target.com. I am very pleased.
