I am a plus size person and most stores in my town don't have a large enough size to fit me. In fact, there is only one store in my town that has clothes that will fit me and they don't have a large selection and their prices are a bit steep. So that means that I need to order clothes online since I can get the size that I need.

There are two online stores that I order clothes from whenever I have the money and one of them is Roamans.com. They have some good sales so I can get clothing and nightgowns at fairly decent prices. I phrase it like that because I do not like super expensive clothes, I just can not afford them and I hate to pay for them. I would prefer to pay a low price for a shirt so I can get several of them instead of pay a higher price for just one shirt. Roamans.com did help me out with that.

I wear mostly sleeveless clothing, whether it is a shirt, dress or nightgown because I am the most comfortable in them and the town I live in is very hot in the summer and not real cold in the winter. Most stores have little more than maybe a tank top that is sleeveless but I did find a dress and nightgown at Roamans.com that I am happy with.

The color selection at Roamans.com really appealed to me. I love all colors and especially bright colors. They make me very happy and I have found that many plus size clothes can be a little plain, ugly and depressing. LOL I'm not saying that all of Roamans.com clothing was pretty but I was able to find a few things that I liked and were within my price range.

I did use a coupon code for my purchase so I was able to save even more off of the already reasonable prices. I get the Roamans.com catalog by snail mail plus I get their email sales notification as well so I had lots of coupon codes to choose from. Plus I did an online search for online coupon codes for Roamans.com and was able to save even more. You can use only one coupon code per transaction which worked for me.

After I placed my order at the Roamans.com website, they did contact me by email to let me know that they were processing my order. One of the dresses that I ordered was out of stock so Roamans.com gave me a date that the dress should be shipped by and asked me if that was ok. They did not charge my credit card for the out of stock item, but only the items that they did send to me.

My order arrived at my house by UPS and I had a tracking number from Roamans.com to track my order to see when it would arrive. I liked that feature a lot. It's always great to see that the store has shipped your order and to see where it is at that moment.

When my package arrived, it was in a giant heavy plastic bag and each clothing item was individually wrapped in its own plastic bag so I felt that it was basically safe and securely packaged. Everything I ordered, except the dress that was on back order, arrived in a timely manner so I have no complaints with packaging or delivery.

I do have a couple of complaints with Roamans.com. One complaint is with their return policy, it really is inconvenient. In fact, it is so inconvenient that I did not return an item that I would normally have returned. I had a problem with a pair of pants. I ordered what I thought was my size, in fact it was the same size as everything else that I ordered but the pants were huge and fell right down as soon as I put them on. Which to be honest, was kind of a good feeling! LOL But I was unable to wear the pants the way they were so I thought I would return them for another but smaller size. But after reading the Roamans.com return policy, I changed my mind.

To return clothing to Roamans.com, you have to pay to ship it back to the store and it costs either $6.50 (and you have to find a UPS driver, a UPS drop off point or the local UPS office) or $7.95 to have UPS come to your house to pick up the return. And Roamans.com does NOT reimburse you for the return shipping. I didn't like that policy and for one pair of pants, it wasn't cost effective to return them and get the correct size. In fact, I am not sure why the pants were so giant when everything I ordered was the same size and everything else fit me but okay, I kept the giant pants and in time, I plan to take them in so they will fit me. That's one of my other complaints about Roamans.com and that is the price of shipping.

Shipping is expensive and the more clothes you order, the more shipping is and it can really add up. So if you can find an online coupon code for free shipping, it can be a good thing when you place a large order.

The dress that I had ordered and was on back order was on back order for a long time, more than a month and a half but Roamans.com sent me a postcard by snail mail to keep me informed and to ask if I wanted to continue to wait. I decided to wait because I wanted the dress as a gift for my adult daughter and I'm glad I did. When it finally came, it was very pretty and made a great gift and my daughter loved it.

One of the promotions on the Roamans.com website, buy two of a certain item (sleeveless t-shirt) and save an additional $2.00 off didn't work when I placed my original order so I called the customer service number and they took it right off and credited my credit card so I can't even complain about that! LOL

I find it very convenient that my account information for Roamans.com is also the same information to sign in to other plus size websites such a womanwithin.com where I also order clothes.

Overall I was very happy with my Roamans.com experience and I will be very likely to order from them again. So I recommend Roamans.com to anyone who needs plus size clothes and must order them by mail for convenience sake, or for certain specially large sizes or because it is physically difficult to go out shopping (due to health reasons).
