The web site stated "free shipping". After placing the order, I was informed that there would indeed be shipping costs as I reside in Canada. Why can't you state up front that you will only honor your free shipping to US customers and save me the time and trouble of placing the order. Most other reputible firms will state that up front if it is in fact an issue. Please remove me from your mailing list.

Upon recieving my items there was an unexpected exorbanent C.O.D. charge from the courier. UPS charged a $35 fee for clearing customs over and above the courier charges from Rocker- This information must be provided to out of country customers- I wrote Rocker an email regarding this information as it seem they are not aware of these extra courier charges, however I have been disappointed that I haven't recieve any acknowledgement of the email. The services and products provided by Rocker were top notch unfortuneately the courier service they have chosen ruined my shopping experience.

This is a store for woodworkers. It's strength is in parts and supplies with some tools carried. If you are building or repairing furniture or cabinetry, you can find most of the hinges, slides, fasteners, veneers, or knobs you will ever need.

Their service is quick and reliable. Their return policy is fair. Their prices are reasonable but not the lowest on the internet. They have a good catalog which they send regularly to their customers.

Check out the jigs and fixtures carrying the Rockler brand. They are good quality and sometimes have unique features for their price point. I have their table for a mortising machine and it is well built and has nice features.

The daughter of the founder is now running Rockler. She has added very aggressive marketing techniques and is a leader in women in woodworking. You will find a hot link to Rockler on most sites relating to woodworking or furniture building

I order through their website regularly and have never had a bad experience.
