I ordered a number of small items that were marked as "same day shipping." They were indeed shipped the same day. SameDayMusic has a warehouse in New Jersey and another in Nevada. My order was split between the two. Got the Jersey order right away, took about a week to receive the Nevada portion.

I did have a need to call customer service and they were alert, on the ball, and helpful, which really surprised me.

Their web site seemed not to work well with Mozilla, and I had to switch to IE. This is my only complaint.

Good Expierence except for delay at FedEx. Order was reshipped through UPS and their order arrived when the original finally arrived after 10 days in Chattanooga. This problem was not SDM's fault.

The merchant sent an email saying that they had accepted my order. But when I called about it, they said that they had billing issues with my card and cancelled it. Meanwhile I went to a competitor and bought the same item without a problem. I would never use samedaymusic or their "in house competitor - zsounds".

I was wanting to buy a set of Pearl ELX825 Export Select 5-Piece Drum Kit. SamedayMusic has a set on their website. The only drum size that I could find listed was the 14X5.5 snare. I emailed their experts@samedaymusic.com and asked what size drums were in their kit because I couldn't find them in their ad. Got a response back "The drum sizes correspond with the description on the site. 22x18 means the drum is 22 inches by 18 inches and etc. etc". Told them I knew that, I just couldn't find the sized in the ad. Even emailed copied their ad to them. Their response was to contact Pearl. They could give me the specs on their drums. If SameDayMusic doesn't even know what they put in their kits, why would anyone want to buy from them. If they can treay perspective customers that way, imagine how they would treat you after they have your money.

1. I placed a substantial order at SameDayMusic, but (contrary to their promise) they waited several days before shipping without contacting me.

2. After I contacted them to finally get things started, they sent an incomplete shipment by mistake.

3. When I pointed out what was missing, they took their time to send the replacement, and when it arrived, it was the wrong thing.

4. It's now several weeks later and I still don't have the complete order. The replacement part is now expected a week later than what they promised it to be.

Same Day Music was able to locate an item (expansion card for a MIDI keyboard) that I've been trying to find for months - the other major online music dealers told me it was unavailable.

Product shipped the next day (it was ordered on a Sunday) and arrived here on the west coast a few days later. Obviously I should have tried Same Day first. Guess who has now moved to the top of my online music shopping list? :-)

I ordered a Gibson guitar for my husband, and they said they had them in stock. Come to find out they won't be getting them for 3 months after we ordered it and they didn't even have the decency to email us about anything. So they took our money and had no problem not telling us where the guitar was or when we'd get it.

I ordered a guitar today just before 5PM. Around 6:30PM I received an email from them saying that my item had been shipped ground FedEx, along with the tracking number. NEVER, have I done business with a company that shipped the same day, let alone an hour and a half after I had placed the order. Their name, "Same Day Music" says it all. I'll definitely do business again!! Thanks guys!

The price advertised was $250.00, however when I went to purchase the Fostex MR-8 8 track Digital multi recorder, the price jumped to $300.00. I find this very deceiving.
